    First time reading LOTM, and basing off from the comments of re readers here, Author does a really good job in introducing his characters. Where at first impression they may not seem much, but actually in later chapters they hold such significant roles. Which I honestly find unique

      Yeah! Cuttlefish is a really great author. I hope to write like him someday.

      I like his world building style- it’s like giving small bites rather than an info dump.
      His conversation styles pretty good too.

      This can only be done when you have complete picture in mind, that way you can build the framework , pillars of the plot. In webnovels this is hardly seen as authors just go chapter by chapter, hardly anyone plans beyond 100 chapters

    Beneath his right ear was a black mole which could only be seen if looked at carefully.

    This guy Mr Azik will or are definitely in disguise or something like that. Why would the author describe a mole under the ear otherwise? And how he can't remember, is he some beyonder who lost his memories and now thinks he's really a professor?
    Or even maybe he was controlled by certain people to steal this dairy and he had read it and has a sense of deja vu when hearing the name Antigonus but can't exactly remember it?

    Looks like whatever the notebook was just didn't affect the three kids. It affected everyone that ever heard of it. I could be wrong though and he just can't remember.

      He could well be directly involved with it though. It would be strange if they didn't consult him or he was linked to the original purchase.
