            i think the reason for that is that cultivation novels usually have a lot of useless content in it. present solely to increase word count. while this novel is more like a genuine novel in which content can't be skipped because the chapters are usually content heavy (setting the tone of the scene and the scene itself instead of junk paragraphs).
