  Wouldn't it make more sense to be x=c-1 though in this context? Because he is over prepared and has so many trump cards, making Moyue say that it's more than enough.
  
  You could argue x=c+1 is how it is in Xu Chuan's mind though, due to his mindset of never having enough. (Maybe that's what you were trying to say originally and I just whooshed right past it though)
