Finally, the MC is going to show some of his strength in front of many people.

This novel is perhaps the best Harry Potter fanfic.

The only problem is that the author uses too many monologues to waste words.

It's also a shame that in this fight he's going to pretend to lose control of dark magic, which seems a bit stupid.

He's trying to create fame to increase his soul; demonstrating his control over dark magic would be far superior to pretending to lose control of it just to put on a show for Voldemort in the shadows.
