    What, that last paragraph did not look right. I’m guessing her pathway is related to that paragraph, like Zhang Xia, but if so it’s not looking good for the mc. I thought the mc wouldn’t be able to save her or she would die midway, but it looks like even if he did save her, she would turn emotionless sooner or later, making romance impossible.
