    Here's a MTL I found :
Chapter 683: An Unexpected Windfall and Analysis
Jie Ming's golden vertical eye between his brows opened to its widest, reflecting layers upon layers of Law patterns within its dark golden pupil.

The intelligence fed back by the warning formation rapidly reorganized within his consciousness.

Then, he saw clearly the scene transmitted back by the warning formation.
It was a fleet, currently in the Endless Chaotic Void outside the plane barrier of the Infernal Sulfur Plane.

Thousands of warships of various shapes and sizes were speeding through the Void.
Their hulls shimmered with a cold metallic luster amidst the chaotic elemental turbulence, and the ship designs were vastly different from those of the Wizard Civilization.

The hulls were covered in dense arrays of light patterns, each one flickering rhythmically like a heartbeat.

The fleet's formation was tightly constricted, with surrounding energy fluctuations precisely modulated to allow the entire fleet to maintain a stable flight trajectory amidst the turbulent Void.

    The speed was extremely fast.

Judging from their direction of advance, they were undoubtedly heading straight for the Infernal Sulfur Plane.

Jie Ming's pupils constricted slightly. An invasion. It was an invasion. It really was an invasion.
Someone—some civilization—was launching an invasion against his Plane.

The flight posture, formation structure, and energy modulation methods of those warships—every detail indicated that this was an armed fleet with a clear combat intent.

The energy fluctuation data collected by the detection formation from those warships began to pour into his consciousness continuously.

Most of the warships had scattered and weak energy fluctuations; the energy level of a single ship did not even meet the minimum standard for independent navigation in the Endless Chaotic Void.

The elemental turbulence in the Endless Chaotic Void would tear apart any existence with an energy intensity below Level 6.

These warships were able to sail safely by relying on a certain type of cluster-based energy resonance technology, where the energy fields of multiple warships overlapped to form a sufficiently stable protective shield.

Only three main ships had energy fluctuations that reached Level 6.
It could be said that this fleet had barely crossed the threshold for long-range travel in the Endless Chaotic Void.
In other words, this was in all likelihood a weak civilization that had just mastered Void navigation technology.

Yet this fleet of thousands of warships was actually charging straight toward his Plane.
So—he, a wizard of the Wizard Civilization, was actually being targeted as an invasion target by a civilization that had just managed to step out of its own Plane?!
Jie Ming found it both laughable and absurd, feeling that this conclusion carried a hint of humor amidst the absurdity.

In his life so far, Jie Ming had confirmed one thing: in the Endless Chaotic Void, the Wizard Civilization was a natural disaster-type civilization, completely akin to a locust plague.

No civilization could communicate with the Wizard Civilization on equal footing; only the Wizard Civilization went to plunder other civilizations for their resources, technology, knowledge, and lives. He had never seen a civilization dare to bare its fangs at the Wizard Civilization!
    "You all—are quite brave!"
Thinking this, Jie Ming's lips couldn't help but curl up wildly, and he couldn't even control himself from opening his mouth to make a sound: "Hehehehehehe—"

His eyes were wide open, his pupils reflecting the cold light emitted by the distant fleet, and his breathing rhythm accelerated unconsciously.

The main ships of this fleet only had Level 6 energy fluctuations, and the rest were auxiliary ships that could only maintain protection through collective resonance.
The reason the Endless Chaotic Void has the word "chaotic" is because it is indeed truly, very chaotic.

Large amounts of elemental turbulence exist everywhere and at all times throughout the entire Void, and because the elements themselves constitute space and time, time and space within the Endless Chaotic Void are also chaotic!

Therefore, although the place where Jie Ming was located could be considered the hinterland of the Wizard Civilization, if one was lucky, it was truly possible to encounter another unfortunate civilization.

Of course, for an individual, expecting this possibility was just about the same as waiting for a rabbit to hit a tree stump!

So, the civilization of the fleet before him might have chosen the wrong direction during its Early Stage of exploration, or perhaps it had no ability to choose a direction at all and was pushed here by the turbulence of the Void.

Or perhaps, they simply had no idea what kind of existence resided in this part of the Void.

They appeared at the completely wrong time in the completely wrong place.
Black liquid metal churned behind him; the Black Giant Priest had already entered a combat state.

The vertical openings in the chests of all the Black Giants on the entire receiving station opened simultaneously, and their low combat roars converged into a dull wave of sound.

"Master, the enemy forces are about to enter—"
"I know." Jie Ming's voice carried a hint of trembling, which was him trying his best to suppress his ecstasy.
After all, the current situation could fully be called an unexpected windfall!
A living, breathing fleet was sailing toward his Plane.

Looking at the flight posture and energy characteristics of this fleet, their technological system should have some unique aspects, which could just happen to serve as a supplement to his technical reserves.

Thousands of warships, personnel, and equipment—the whole thing was also a considerable amount of biomass energy.

And more importantly—they could lead him to find their home civilization.
That was the real gold mine.

A civilization that had not yet been discovered by the Wizard Civilization, possessing
a complete technology tree and a complete resource system.

Besides that, the Plane itself was also an extraordinarily huge fortune.

As long as he could find it and harvest it, Jie Ming would be able to obtain an astronomical amount of resources, enough to support him in advancing all his existing research projects simultaneously.

Send troops immediately, capture them immediately!

But these thoughts had just arisen before being suppressed by him.

Jie Ming took two deep breaths, and while suppressing the ecstasy in his heart, he began to think calmly.

Now, what lay before him was not just an opportunity, but also two quite troublesome problems that needed to be solved.

First, information. The opponent's technology tree, social structure, military strength, and communication methods were all unknowns.

The civilizations born in the Endless Chaotic Void were nearly infinite, and the Foundation technology system of each civilization could be completely different.
Although the currently detected energy Rank was very low, he had learned a basic principle back in his apprentice days: never use energy Rank to guess the full strength of an unknown civilization.

If the opponent happened to hold some kind of technology he couldn't defend against, rushing into war would be walking right into a trap.

Caution is a habit; wizards without this habit would have already lost their lives.
And the second trouble was to ensure that the prey could not escape.

If he couldn't instantly paralyze all the enemy warships in the first wave of strikes, the opponent might make the choice to self-destruct their data and escape.
If he was unlucky and really let the opponent escape or self-destruct, it would cause him to lose the clues leading to their home civilization.
Just as mentioned before, time and space in the Endless Chaotic Void are chaotic; wanting to find a civilization can only rely on "coordinates."

Therefore, he needed the information stored in the warships' databases, such as star charts, communication records, and navigation logs, and he also needed the knowledge in the crew members' minds regarding the home civilization's coordinates, technological system, and military deployment.

Once the opponent initiated the data destruction program when the battle situation was unfavorable, even if he captured these warships, what he would get would only be a pile of scrap metal.

Similarly, even if only one warship escaped, as long as the opponent had cross-space communication or space jump technology, that civilization would be warned in advance.

At that time, what he might face would be a death star with traps already set, or the remnants of a civilization that had completely Transferred away.
So—they must be captured in one fell swoop.
A white light lit up beside him; it was the light of a Transfer formation.

The vanguard of the Black Giant Legion had already responded to the warning formation's summons, and the first batch of combat units had been directly Transferred from their garrison inside the Plane to the receiving station platform.
More white lights flickered one after another all over the platform.

Every time a white light dissipated, it would reveal the figures of thousands of Black Giants.

The vertical openings in their chests were all open, their fangs gleaming coldly under the shield light, and the black liquid metal on their bodies fluctuated violently, entering a pre-combat state.

Moreover, every Black Giant was covered by an invisible barrier; that was the fluctuation of the Returning Void Armor.

And it wasn't just the Returning Void Armor; every Black Giant also had a small Wizard Artifact embedded in their palm, containing a stored Li Fire Extinction Divine Light.

Over these many years, the automated factories had been producing Wizard Artifacts capable of releasing modified Spells; although it was not enough to equip everyone, it was enough to fully arm the elite Black Giant battle legions.

Immediately after, the Transfer formations placed next to the positioning towers at the four corners of the receiving station also began to light up.

Squad after squad of Black Giant Priests walked out of the light.

Unlike ordinary Black Giants, their slender figures appeared more composed, and the
patterns flowing on their bodies were particularly striking in the gloom of the Void.

Within just a few seconds, dozens of Black Giant combat legions had crowded onto the receiving station platform, and follow-up units were still continuously being Transferred.

And inside the Infernal Sulfur Plane, even more Black Giant Legions were eager to try.
Unfortunately, due to the spatial capacity limitations of the receiving station platform itself, at the current stage, only those Black Giant Legions with the highest Rank could be Transferred over.

More than a dozen Level 6 high-ranking Black Giants stepped out from the crowd simultaneously and quickly arrived by Jie Ming's side.

They were the strongest combat force in the entire Black Giant Legion besides the Priests; each one was over a thousand meters tall, and dark red energy light, visible to the naked eye, surged within the vertical openings in their chests.

They waited silently for their master's order.

"Master, the vanguard has finished assembling. Shall we send troops?" the Black Giant Priest beside him asked, bowing.

    Jie Ming raised his hand.

All the Black Giants' movements froze simultaneously; all combat units, including those seven Level 6 ones, stopped their actions in unison.

Everything on the receiving station seemed to have had a pause button pressed on it.
    "—No," Jie Ming said.

His gaze remained locked on the approaching fleet.

The warships in the Void still maintained their original flight speed and formation.
Judging from the reaction state of the fleet, the opponent should not yet know that they had been discovered.

He paused, letting all the pros and cons analysis formed in his consciousness settle, and finally chose the most prudent plan.

"No rush. To be safe, we must still lure the enemy into the trap." He withdrew his hand and flashed a smile at the Black Giant Priest, "Let the guests come in first."
