  Its mainly because the events are interesting enough. The author keeps coming up with unique solutions to problems and events that only work in this world setting.
  
  There is so much stuff here that is not seen in other cultivation novels, it keeps things interesting. I can only imagine what it will be like when he starts to establish himself more.
  
  Rather than looking forward to his increase in power, instead I am looking forward to the shit he gets into when he enters university or a sect. The dynamics there will probably be quite different.
