    1015 Chapter 1015 - Exploding Pillar

    What even was this?

    There were no claws.

    There were no teeth.

    There were no heads.

    There were no talons.

Sure, there were legs, but they were way too long and spindly. It was more than clear that they didn't offer a lot of speed.

All in all, the picture the strange Demon gave the others was one of failure and weakness. Something like that couldn't possibly keep up with the other Demons.

Even if that thing were a Late Crusher Demon, it wouldn't seem powerful. Hell, even if it were a Peak Crusher Demon, the Late Crusher Demons still wouldn't fear it.

As they saw the Demon approaching their Law Well, the Demons grew annoyed and angry. This thing did not deserve to join their table.

Their instincts told them that they had to defend their resources, filling them with aggression and hostility. It was like the feeling of seeing a fly landing on their delicious food.

Several Demons readied themselves to charge towards the newcomer, but when one of them charged forward, the others stopped.

Demons were beasts, and beasts followed their instincts. Their instincts told them that it was bad to kill something without any gain. If something was so weak that it wouldn't even offer a challenge, it didn't feel right to kill it.

Naturally, someone encroaching on their resources was reason enough to kill them, but they wouldn't invest more resources than necessary. Because of that, no other Demon got involved when one Demon went forward.

The Demon that charged forward was lean and muscular. It barely had any natural armor, but it also didn't need that. Sparks of intense lightning came out of its body, creating offensive armor. The lightning could focus on one object, offering a powerful offense, but it could also push the Demon forward, offering great acceleration.

The Demon's body had three heads and six legs, which were all infused with lightning. It was fast, strong, and versatile, like every other Demon.

The Demon landed in front of the scurrying pillar, and the lightning around its body intensified in a display of threat and dominance. Its instincts were fighting two opposing emotions. It didn't feel comfortable killing the weak Demon, but it also felt hatred towards the audacity of the weak pillar.

It would give one warning. Only one. If the pillar didn't get the message, it would die.

The pillar stopped for a short moment, but then it continued scurrying forward. The only difference was that the large hammerhead had risen ever so slightly, no longer leaving a crevice behind.

The Demon's hesitation vanished, and aggression dominated its mind.

    Fine! Then, die!

The Demon exploded forward, its speed unrivaled. Even more lightning gathered around its body, hiding it behind an incandescent display of explosive violence. The cloud of explosive lightning moved in an arc, and as it approached the pillar, three long, dragon-like heads of lightning stretched out of it.

Power and dominance were beautifully displayed as the Demon's violent might transformed the surroundings into ash.

The Demon reached the pillar, its three heads extending towards it from different angles. Evading such an attack would prove difficult.

The pillar stopped moving. Its spindly legs extended to the side before burrowing deep into the ground. The pillar's base hit the ground as the spindly legs, below the surface, grew countless hooked spikes, keeping the pillar as stable as an ancient mountain.

Then, the pillar's entire body seemed to morph and warp. Its skin and scales were bursting and warping as its smooth, geometric body shape became wavy and uneven.

Muscles, veins, and sinews. The pillar's appearance warped and deformed, like the arm of a roided-out bodybuilder about to go for a personal best in weightlifting.

    The Demon approached.

The base of the pillar slightly moved forward as its back exploded with concentrated Wind and Fire Energy. At the same time, the muscles on the front of the pillar's base turned into Lightning, Water, and Darkness Energy, leaving behind a massive bone. Simultaneously, dense Earth Energy was spreading out from its many hooks and legs, strengthening the ground around it.

    BANG!

Another explosion happened behind the pillar, just a bit further up, accelerating it even more. On the front, more of its muscles were turned into Elemental Energies. After the muscles had done their job, they were broken down by Lightning Energy. The Darkness Energy reduced the intensity of the Elemental Energies, and the Water Energy transported it further up.

    BANG! BANG! BANG!

The explosions on the pillar's back became faster and more intense as the force kept traveling upward.

The pillar barely moved as it slowly turned into a bone while explosions happened behind it. It almost looked like its outer shell was turning to dust.

The Demon approached. It didn't even think about what was happening in front of it. This was just a Peak Primal Demon. No matter what it did, it wouldn't matter.

Just as the Demon was about to reach the pillar, the Elemental Display reached the top.

The Water, Lightning, and Darkness Energies reached the hammer, and an instant later, all of them turned black. They had all turned into pure Darkness Energy, reducing the mighty hammer's weight to almost zero.

The massive, exposed bone shook and crackled under the immense force it was keeping at bay. The kinetic energy of countless explosions and pulling muscles was all stored in its tip.

    BOOOOOOM!

A monumental explosion of wind and fire appeared behind the hammer, signaling the firing of a proverbial gun.

    BANG!

The ground around the pillar quaked. Mountains and craters appeared as the immense force of the legs and spikes spread across the earth.

The hammer moved forward, its speed pushed to an unimaginable level. 20% of the pillar's entire Energy was used to lower the hammer's weight. 60% of its total Energy was pushed into pure kinetic energy, trying to accelerate an object with almost no mass.

When the hammer reached its maximum speed, the Darkness Energy vanished, returning the hammer's weight. Then, a display of yellow and grey covered the hammer as the remaining 20% of Energy was turned into Light and Metal Energy, making the hammer as heavy and hard as possible.

The Demon's heads almost reached the pillar. Just a tiny bit of distance remained between its attack and its target.

    The hammer moved and expanded.

Before the heads could reach the pillar, the hammer appeared above the Demon's body.

    The hammer fell.

    BOOOOOOOOOM!

The ground shook and exploded, turning the surroundings into a display of violent destruction.

The lightning around the heads lost its will as it flowed across the bony pillar, which was now lying on the ground like a thin stick.

The clouds of dust and ash parted, revealing a gigantic hammer, the flat end of its head buried in the ground.

The Demon couldn't be seen anymore.

    And the pillar?

It was now just one long, thin bone, which lay weakly on the ground. It couldn't move or attack. It had used all of its Energy and physical power in this one attack, only leaving enough to keep its vital functions going.

    It couldn't fight anymore.

    However, compared to the Demon...

    It was still alive.

      1016 Chapter 1016 - Conflicting Instincts

The watching Demons shuddered as they felt the violent shockwaves from a distance.

What the f#ck had just happened?!

How did this Peak Primal Demon unleash such devastation?!

      It made no sense!

When they saw its current appearance, they felt like the pillar was helpless. It had used all of its power. Even a Mid Primal Demon could kill it in this state.

Yet, it was still alive, while the other Demon had died.

      Their instincts became confused.

      This thing was weak!

But it killed a Late Crusher Demon!

      But it was so weak!

      But it killed something strong!

      How?!

Moments later, the spindly legs of the pillar moved back and forth, trying to get hold of the ground so the pillar could stand up again.

Muscles and blood appeared around the bone as the pillar moved a bit more. The legs finally got hold of the ground, and the pillar stood up again.

The flesh regrew faster as the process of generating Biological Energy went into full motion again. Within seconds, the smooth appearance of the pillar returned.

Then, the hammerhead shook as the pillar slowly lifted it, revealing a pile of unrecognizable gore beneath it.

The hammer slowly moved over the pillar.

      Ding!

The hammer touched the ground behind the pillar lightly before returning to its old position.

The current appearance of the pillar was identical to its appearance when it had just arrived. The only things that had changed were the devastated surroundings and the squished corpse in front of it.

The Demons just watched in shock and confusion as the pillar scurried towards the squished corpse. It reached the corpse quickly, and moments later, countless thin but long arms came out of an opening near its base. The arms investigated the squished corpse, tearing it into pieces before harvesting the Beast Core.

Yet, the Demons didn't even pay any attention to the hands. They were distracted by something else.

When the arms had come out of their opening, the Demons had noticed something shocking.

The opening was filled to the brim with Beast Cores of Crusher Beasts!

      There were thousands!

If the Demons were humans, their hearts would be filled with greed. However, as proud Divine Beasts, the Demons had no desire to consume beasts they hadn't killed themselves.

Divine Beasts were designed to become Immortals. They were supposed to be opponents and treasure troves for Immortal Seekers. Employing underhanded tactics would only grant short-term benefits with long-term detriments. Any Beast Core they received without a fight was one instance less of tempering and battle experience. That was also why Divine Beasts never argued about corpses. They were only supposed to consume the resources they could attain with their own powers.

However, the Beast Cores were still very attractive to them. Usually, Demons consumed the Beast Cores of their prey to increase their power while dumping the bodies into the Law Wells. Yet, dumping Beast Cores into Law Wells would be even better.

If they allowed the pillar to come to their Law Well, it was bound to use some of its wealth to feed the Law Well. It was just natural.

While they were watching, the pillar let go of the hammer and grabbed the squished corpse. Then, it became upright again before throwing the corpse into the distance.

The corpse flew for over 2,000 kilometers before landing in the middle of the Gravity Lightning Law Well.

The pillar had already contributed to the Law Well's health.

The distant Peak Crusher Beasts felt their negative feelings weakening. They did not feel as much animosity towards the pillar as the Late Crusher Demons. The reason for that was simple. The Peak Crusher Beasts were in the center of the Law Well. They had the best place. The Late Crusher Beasts could only absorb the Energy the Peak Crusher Beasts left them. The pillar couldn't enter the center, which was why its presence wasn't a threat to them. As long as it contributed to the Law Well, they didn't care.

Meanwhile, the Late Crusher Demons still felt some animosity. The addition of another Demon would leave less Energy for them.

The funny thing about beasts was that they rarely thought far into the future. Right now, the pillar had only contributed a little, but it was also a threat, which was why they didn't want it anywhere close to their Law Well. Their feelings ignored the idea that the pillar's tremendous wealth would increase the Energy around them instead of decreasing it.

They didn't care about what someone could possibly spend. They only cared about what that someone had already spent.

After throwing the corpse, the pillar grabbed its hammer again and continued scurrying towards the Law Well.

As it came closer, the Late Crusher Demons became conflicted again.

The distance between the pillar and the Law Well was still great enough to consider it as food. A battle from such a distance wouldn't damage their current home.

The pillar was weak and unworthy of being here!

But it was powerful and imposing!

Something this weak couldn't possibly contribute anything!

But it had so many Beast Cores!

      It was weak!

      It was strong!

      It was a liability!

      It was a great help!

Their conflicting feelings made them tense and relax their bodies repeatedly. They didn't know what they should do.

Some of them thought about charging forward, but their instincts also told them that it was extremely dangerous. They had seen what devastation the pillar could bring.

      BANG!

One of the Demons took to the sky, intent on killing the weak intruder.

While the other Demons feared the pillar, this one didn't.

The Demon was an amalgamation of wings and long spears, covered in lightning. While the vast majority of Demons took advantage of their tremendous physical power to kill the enemy, not all of them were like that, and this one was one of them.

This Demon used its physical power to push its speed to the maximum in an effort to keep a comfortable distance between it and its opponent. To kill its opponent, it relied on its mastery over lightning to launch devastating attacks from far away.

The pillar was only dangerous from close range. As long as the Demon didn't enter its range, it could kill the pillar easily.

The Demon shouted in dominance, sounding like the screech of a hawk.

Then, it shot forward, leaving the surroundings of its Law Well. Fighting near the Law Well was forbidden, even if there was no way that the fight would damage it.

The Demon stopped at a distance of 500 kilometers, which was still outside the pillar's Energy Sense... under normal circumstances.

After another screech, the Demon fired several lances of lightning towards the pillar.

      BANG! BANG! BANG!

The lances all struck the ground around the pillar, almost like these spots had been their target from the start. In truth, the pillar had just slightly scurried to the side. While the attacks had tremendous speeds, they had been fired from a significant distance.

When the Demon saw that, it fired more lances, which also missed.

In response, the Demon flew closer, the distance between them reducing to 300 kilometers.

Lightning gathered around the Demon's wings, and moments later, it pushed its wings forward.

A huge ball of misty lightning flew towards the pillar, an area attack.

There was no way it could avoid this attack!

    1013 Chapter 1013 - Hammer-Swinging Demon

The Demon Car traveled towards the east. However, it was more appropriate to call it Kyle. Kyle's mind had fully integrated with the Demon Car. When he moved the Demon Car, he didn't think about moving it but about moving himself.

As Kyle kept going towards the east, his many hands and heads moved around in the wind like hair. He was currently ten kilometers long, but if he chose to, he could shrink to a size of just 20 meters or grow to a size of thousands of kilometers. His countless hands expanded and retracted rhythmically.

At one point, an Initial Crusher Demon rushed towards him. The Initial Crusher Demon was an abomination made of several wings and talons, preferring speed and offense over defense.

It shot towards Kyle, its speed superior to his own. In the past, Kyle avoided fights since he had just been traveling, but now, things had changed. He needed to act like a proper Demon now, and Demons rarely fled from battles.

Wind Energies surrounded the Demon, increasing its speed even further. Its metallic talons stretched forward, intending to cut Kyle into pieces.

    Kyle didn't evade.

    CRKSH! CRKSH! CRKSH!

The talons broke into Kyle's body, filling his body with Metal and Wind Energy.

Уet, the Metal and Wind Energies lost their infused will as soon as they spread through Kyle's body. His own will took hold of them, and the Elemental Energies turned into nourishment.

Usually, the will of Elemental Energies flowing through one's body wasn't relevant. Bodies worked with Neutral Energy and Biological Energy. It didn't matter if someone controlled the fire or not. There was still fire going through one's veins.

Yet, Kyle was also an Elemental. While he couldn't absorb Elemental Energies with a will inside of them, he could absorb Elemental Energies that didn't have an owner.

In a fluid motion, the majority of Kyle's hands grabbed the talons stuck in his body. At the same time, a hole opened on Kyle's back, and his eight longest arms stretched into it.

In the next moment, the arms pulled a huge hammer out of the hole. The eight hands of the eight arms grabbed its hilt in different spots. Four elbows extended upward, while four elbows extended downward.

The muscles on Kyle's body bulged as six arms pushed the hammer down while the other two guided it. Almost every single muscle was engaged as the force of the strike multiplied with every additional joint.

The Demon sent more Elemental Energies into Kуle's body as it tried to pull back. Sadly, while its body was stronger than Kyle's body, it still wasn't strong enough to pull away from him.

    The hammer hit a talon.

    BANG!

The talon exploded into pieces, the hammer barely slowing down.

    CRKSH! CRKSH!

The hammer broke through three wings before ramming into the Demon's body. Kyle shoved Elemental Energies into the Demon's body, which started to convulse.

The Elemental Energies denatured the Beast Core, interrupting its function.

    The Demon was dead.

Kyle's claws held the corpse in the sky before tearing it apart. More of his claws burrowed into the body, and moments later, they pulled out again, a Beast Core in their grasp.

The corpse was dumped onto the ground, and the Beast Core was stored in another hole before Kyle continued his journey.

He didn't think much about the battle. The battle hadn't been difficult with all of his advantages.

A red burst of negative Karmic Luck appeared in Kyle's vision, but he ignored it. Both of his bodies were human, and neither of them was supposed to slaughter Divine Beasts without a good reason.

The burst of negative Karmic Luck ignored the Demon Car's Spirit and directly went for Kyle's Spirit. After all, the Demon Car couldn't make any choices. It didn't have a mind. All of the responsibility fell upon the thing that made the order, Kyle's mind.

The Laws of Karmic Luck had to work in this manner. Otherwise, Seekers could find ways to control the minds of other Seekers to gain resources unethically while receiving none of the negative consequences.

    Karmic Punishment couldn't be outsourced.

Moments later, another Demon attacked, and Kyle killed it as well, gaining another Beast Core.

After some time, an Early Crusher Demon attacked Kyle.

It struck with its many claws, but Kyle's body adapted to the attacks so quickly that it seemed like it reacted to the attacks before they were even launched.

The claws moved past Kyle's body as if they had intended to miss.

The hammer returned, and the eight arms swung it. The Demon moved back to avoid the strike. Its body was far stronger, and with its superior speed, it seemed like it would succeed.

    BANG! BANG!

Kyle's arms burst with blood as the speed of the hammer increased. The accumulated force was too much for his arms to handle, and his muscles gave out under the force. The only arms that were undamaged were the ones guiding the hammer.

    BANG!

The hammer rammed into the Demon's body, its bit burrowing into its body before stopping mere centimeters before reaching the Beast Core. A volatile cocktail of Elemental Energies flooding into the Beast Core.

Kyle harvested another Beast Core before continuing.

He battled many more times, getting more familiar with his new body. After every battle, Kyle analyzed his body's performance, and afterward, he made minor adjustments.

Humans couldn't easily change their physiology. Changing the way his body worked wasn't supposed to be possible. Yet, the Demon Car was also an Elemental. It had a Spirit that defined its physical appearance by the standards of an Elemental, and Elementals didn't have fixed bodies. When it came to designing their bodies, they had even more freedom than beasts.

Kyle changed the muscles, creating longer paths through which the force of any swing could travel.

The small changes accumulated, and after a great number of battles, Kyle's body had already changed significantly. His body had become longer and thinner, giving his muscles more time to accumulate and transport power. The arms responsible for swinging the hammer grew thicker and longer at the base, while the hands became thin and metallic.

The majority of the other arms fused into gigantic wings. Kyle needed more speed to counteract the force of his strikes, and wings offered the greatest speed advantage.

Kyle kept killing more Early Crusher Demons, and eventually, he reached a place where Early Crusher Demons became rare, replaced by Mid Crusher Demons.

The Mid Crusher Demons were not very interested in killing Kyle. After all, he was just a Peak Primal. His existence didn't have a lot of weight.

However, there were still some Mid Crusher Demons that were desperate for resources. If they wanted to know more about Elements, they needed a place in a Law Well, and if they didn't bring enough fuel for the Law Well, the stronger Demons would kill them or drive them away.

One of these Mid Crusher Demons looked at Kyle and decided that his existence was worth the effort to hunt him.

1014 Chapter 1014 - If It Works, It's Not Stupid!

An abomination of tails ending in spiky maces rushed towards Kyle at incredible speeds. The Mid Crusher Demon spun, turning its tails into a wall of destructive attacks.

Kyle's wings beat rapidly, increasing his speed to his maximum.

The two opponents reached each other in an instant.

Kyle swung his hammer forward, all of his forward momentum stopping as it was injected into the swing. His body stopped slightly to the side of the Demon.

Even though the Demon had a more powerful body, the way it attacked didn't take advantage of its forward momentum. If Kyle were on its other side, he would also have to contend with the force of its forward momentum. However, he was on the side where the tails moved away from him.

      BANG! BANG! BANG!

Kyle's hammer broke through three tails, injecting a bit of Elemental Energy into every small wound.

      BANG!

The fourth tail survived, and Kyle's hammer was stopped in its tracks.

The fifth tail followed, and Kyle repositioned his body.

      BANG!

The fifth tail broke Kyle's scaly armor and bones as it blasted the upper quarter of his body into the distance. The hammer and the arms carrying it were blasted into the distance.

Kyle's many wings stretched upward, into the path of the sixth tail.

      CRK! CRK! CRK!

His wings were severed and broken, chunks of meat flying into the distance.

Kyle moved upward, into the path of the seventh tail.

      BANG!

His bones broke, but the spinning momentum of the Demon had weakened so much that Kyle didn't die. Kyle's arms had already regrown, and thеy wrapped around the tail, refusing to let go.

At the same time, the bottom of Kyle's body parted, and the eight remaining arms on the underside of his body pulled out a second hammer.

All the muscles on Kyle's body bulged as he swung his second hammer. The muscles employed were the same, and they also contracted in the same way. In order to understand how that was possible, one only needed to imagine a human trying to push a wall.

The human's calves contracted to keep the foot stable. Their quadriceps contracted to keep the lower leg stable. Their triceps contracted to create a pushing motion. With the addition of a couple more muscles, a pushing force was created. The force generated started with the feet and ended with the hands.

Yet, the start and end points could be swapped, and the muscles that contracted wouldn't change. One simply had to flip the image of the pushing human by ninety degrees. Instead of pushing a wall with their hands while pushing off the ground with their legs, the human could also push the wall with their feet while pushing off the ground with their arms.

The start point of Kyle's swing was not the end of his body but the point where the other eight arms came from.

He swung his hammer into the Demon's natural armor.

      CRK!

The hammer broke through the natural armor, but it didn't manage to get far.

Fortunately, that was more than enough as Kyle dumped a ton of Elemental Energy into the enemy's body.

The Demon's body was thrown into the distance as its Beast Core collapsed.

Kyle went to the corpse and pulled out its Beast Core before storing it.

'At the moment, Mid Crusher Demons are my limit,' Kyle thought. 'Even with perfect planning, I simply don't have enough power to break through a Late Crusher Demon's defenses.'

'I need to increase the power of my strikes even more, and I need to do it without using unnatural amounts of Energy or human abilities.'

'Demons generally create bodies with no weaknesses. They are all fast, strong, and durable. I can break through an Initial Crusher Demon's body by using a weapon. If I want to damage an Early Crusher Demon, I need powerful forward momentum as well. To damage a Mid Crusher Demon, I have to forego defense and adaptability in favor of strengthening the power of just a single attack. My entire body is built around launching just a single powerful strike. It's the only weapon I have, even though I can launch that strike from two positions.'

'But that's not enough. At the very least, I need the power to kill a Late Crusher Demon, and the only way to achieve that...'

      'Is to sacrifice even more.'

'I need to get rid of everything else. I need to sacrifice all of my powers and add them all to a single attack.'

'I also need deterrence since I will be among Late Crusher Demons a lot. I need to show that attacking me will only end in their deaths.'

Kyle furrowed his brows. 'However, if I sacrifice even more, I will become more vulnerable to other things. I've already gotten rid of my defenses. I've also gotten rid of versatility. I can only launch these two attacks. Any other attacks will be harmless to my opponents. If I also get rid of my speed, any ranged attacker can easily kill me.'

'Speed is an absolute necessity. I can't possibly get rid of it.'

'I can't use Domains since I'm not a Domain Lord Demon. I can't use Momentum since that would tell everyone I'm a human. What I could do is use Elemental Laws. I'm already using a hammer, which tells everyone around me that I'm an intelligent Demon. It wouldn't be strange if I also used Laws.'

'However, that would only make a minor difference. I'm already somewhat using Laws internally by converting parts of my body into pure Elemental Energy, which I use to increase my power and speed.'

'It still wouldn't be enough to properly injure a Late Crusher Demon.'

'There's no other way. I have to make myself vulnerable to some kind of attack. I have to sacrifice even more versatility.'

After a while, an idea entered Kyle's mind, but he wasn't sure what to think about it.

He thought about it for a long time, analyzing it again and again. It was almost like he was trying to find a way to argue that this idea wouldn't work.

      Yet...

'This is absolutely retarded,' Kyle thought.

Kyle's mind went through the pros and cons.

      'But it works.'

He looked to the side for a while.

'Am I actually going to do this?'

'Fine! What other choice do I have?!'

'Oh my f#cking God, this is so f#cking stupid!'

Eventually, Kyle accepted his fate and started to change his body.

It took a long time to change his body since it looked very different from his current body. Technically, he could change it in just a couple of seconds, but if anyone watched, they would realize that something wasn't right. Because of that, he had to slowly change it, one fight at a time.

Years passed until Kyle was done changing his body. Afterward, he resumed his journey to the east. Sadly, his speed had dropped quite a bit, which meant the journey took longer.

As Kyle kept traveling east, several of the Demons watched him in confusion. Only the Demons that were sent to the frontlines were mindless killing machines. The normal Demons living in the Abyss were still normal Divine Beasts, which meant they had their own desires and quirks.

While the Demons focused on growing stronger, they also sometimes looked around in boredom, and when they saw Kyle, they became curious and confused.

      He wasn't fast.

He was only a Peak Primal Demon.

He was not supposed to be here.

Yet, he kept traveling to the east, passing by Demons that were much stronger than he was.

Sometimes, some Mid Crusher Demons approached him just out of curiosity.

      Kyle ignored them and continued.

However, if one of the Demons got too curious...

Well, let's just say that the other Demons wouldn't look at Kyle with curiosity anymore but with shock and terror.

      Years passed...

A group of Late and Peak Crusher Demons focused on the Elemental Display of Gravity Lightning in front of them when their attention was drawn to the west.

A foreign Demon was openly approaching their Law Well. Demons generally avoided fighting right beside Law Wells unless they were launching an all-out assault on one. However, every additional Demon on a Law Well represented a loss in latent Elemental Energy. Because of that, only Demons with enough power were allowed near Law Wells.

When the Demons noticed the newcomer, they became confused.

      A Peak Primal Demon.

What was such a weak Demon doing here?

Demons were used to all manner of strange appearances. After all, Demons were Divine Beasts, and Divine Beasts rarely looked like regular animals.

Yet, when they saw the newcomer's body, they were still surprised.

None of them had seen such a strange Demon before.

They saw a moving pillar. The pillar was bent over like a palm tree. Its base was upright, but the further up one went on the pillar, the more it bent over. The base was wide, but the pillar became thinner as it progressed. The other end of the pillar was bent so much that it lightly touched the ground behind it again. On the tip of the pillar was the head of a hammer.

The pillar had many long and thin insect legs coming out of it. When the pillar moved, it couldn't be described with the word "walking" but with the word "scurrying".

The head of the hammer left a small crevice behind as the pillar slowly scurried to the Law Well.

The Demons couldn't make sense of this strange Demon.

Yet, if a human were here, they would realize something.

      This bent pillar...
