    This was a pretty predictable development from the moment he let Horatio go (or at least, since we heard about Karmic Punishment), but that doesn't make it an unwelcome one.

    Prediction (long term) - by some high realm, maybe the 10th, Kyle realizes (or gets directly told by an "enemy") that Shang is actually gonna milk him for all his worth before disposing of him, and starts working towards finding a way to escape from this war somehow, only to end up even more entangled.
