    I wonder at what point will his brain be immune to an explosion from the crystal? Can imagine even a 1st realm bomb could kill someone in the third realm if it exploded right in the middle of their noggin.

    Bro can literally ignore this guy and the promise. By the time he's even stong enough to be able to kill the King, he's already be strog enough to survive the attack from this object in his brain. I mean it's not like the object has the power of the transedance relm, and that's what the MC would need to be in to pose a threat to the king. Not to mention, there's nothing stopping this guy from attacking MC after he completes his tasks for him. Sure he may want his legacy to go on, but he could very well just attack MC just to spite him.
    Why would MC want to attack a good King and plunge this kingdom into chaos for something that will be weaker than him.
