    Rereading this and only now do I realize just how expensive an Aristocrat’s Ritual is when it requires enough Ether to create ten third realm beings just to enhance one first realm mortal.

    He should atleast learn some basic spell casting to maybe learn some kind of buff spells and sorts even if later in the story.
