      Well, it would've been expected of any story to keep the Duke alive for an eventual showdown... You have to agree that was just unexpected. Though I do wonder when will there be a high level showdown, since the Duke's now dead, who's next? And how long do we wait?

      1. I agree that it’s bullshit cuz what’s the odds of 10 mana beasts attacking this group at once?! That was a little lazy writing in my opinion. But it’s not something critical for this story so nevermind.
      2. I disagree cuz there absolutely shouldn’t be any grand showdowns with such an mc. Remember, he’s a rouge/thief/assassin character who uses brains and plans, not brawn. He could’ve quietly whittled down his enemies in the forrest but that would’ve taken him weeks and that’s counterproductive to the plotline, where he has to return to the fort quickly.
