      Soleum used the necromancy book he purchased from the Alien Website. Not sure if you remember but it was when the Alien Website went under maintenance for a while. When it came back, Soleum bought out the whole item catalog that was available at the time. This book being one of the items. As mentioned in this chapter, it’s just a scam book with a side effect that psychologically manipulates anyone within a 10-meter radius to “experience fear and madness as if a colossal entity has descended.” And as it turns out, this item seems like it was made to perfectly suit Soleum.
      The more deeply the reader is immersed in horror media or possesses a high level of suggestibility, the more vivid and pronounced the effects become.
      Basically, if the reader is a creepypasta/ghost-story fanatic, the stronger the effect. He’s scamming them into thinking he’s some high class entity. Hope this clarifies a few things.
