    Well, I'm obliged to argue about that, demons harass, destroy and corrupt the lives of civilians, there isn't a single good demon out there. Don't let them trick you into seeing them as a benevolent or good, they're, always, ALWAYS, trying to destroy your life and your happiness.
    You should watch Nefarious, to get an idea.

      These people are not literal demons. They are a cult that has been branded as evil.

      As you might've noticed, the core of the cult is a very organized institution. They have a pavilion of investigation (basically a police force) and other institutions.

      Bottom line, they are people with a chaotic alignment, not evil. Chaos does what it wants and dislikes evil.

        It has nothing to do with moral alignment. The core of demonic cultivation and techniques is a mastery of human emotions and desires in order to reach enlightenment that would lead them to transcendence. Whether acting good or evil, it's just a byproduct and not an end goal.
        Then again, I'd have bone to pick with author about his creative choices when it comes to depicting demonic cultivators.
