I do understand how Vivien and Asai did it. But how barrow and his sons preserved their memory/will with no mythic power on 250mil timeframe escapes me.

The author of this novel is known for his inconsistency from his previous works, so don’t expect much from him. The fact he can write such above acceptable story is already beyond my expectation (I’ve expected worse), way better than his previous works. And just so you know, when see a plothole similar this garbage plotline with Barrow and his family, basically a bunch of weakass nobodies who basically managed to survive over two hundred fifty million years for no clear concrete explainable reason of how they managed to achieve such impossible feat, it basically means that the author became retarded. He might become retarded here and there; which also happened with his previous works. Just think of it as he expanded too much of his braincells to write the story and he needed time to recharge back his braincells until he stopped being retarded again.

Ain’t gon lie, the last 30 chapters has been very boring as hell. And with this stupid plothole, it’s getting tediously more and more annoying to read.
