Gu Yang crossed over to a high-martial world, eked out a living in small village for two years, and finally saved up enough and activated the Life Simulator system.

With a certain amount of money, a simulation can be run.

After the simulation ends, one of the three can be retained: realm, martial arts skills, or life wisdom.

[For five years you were an accountant, saved up enough money to buy a cultivation manual, practiced hard for ten years and became a Ninth Realm martial artist, but then ran into an enemy and died!]

[Once you left the mountains, you were at the Ninth Rank, became a protector of a certain family, practiced intensely for twenty years, broke through to the Eighth Grade, and ultimately, died of old age in a small town.]

[Once you left the mountains, you were at Eighth Grade, received recognition from a noble clan, were taught profound martial arts, but due to slow progress, were marginalized, and after a dozen years, you finally broke through to the seventh grade, but then encountered powerful foes on a mission and were killed.]

After countless rounds of simulations: [You encounter people, but none are a match for you. You realize that you have become invincible.] Collapse

This is one of the good “cultivation” novels that are being produced right now you know the “fast food” novels. The first 200 chapters are good but the rest is just author giving up at that point you just have to read it through and through that’s what I did. The plots may be cliche and predictable but at least they’re unique and fresh so it’s not boring to read. MC is good but never really got to know him as he was only trying to live and get stronger so there wasn’t a lot of character development. The harem had potential but the author gave up mid way so he just scuffed everything, sad to see the potential it could’ve had.

Couldn't have said this better myself. I fully agree I enjoyed it heavily for the first half then it went downhill from there, and I was too far in to just drop it so I had to finish it.

      *Inhales deeply... sigh!
The amount of novels that face this same issue is astounding, really sad encountering this same issue so often, really great start, sometimes the middle part is great as well and then the author seems to stop caring or forgets what he wanted to do with the novel, who knows maybe they though they wouldn't even make it that far and didn't know how to continue or properly finish the novel or just wrote to make some money and after that lost interest, anyway, pretty sad specially after being invested in the story and characters.

2.4/5 stars. I usually like trash but this novel was a bit too much for my blood. Mc goes around collecting beauties, uses them only for as long as they are relevant to his growth, and then throws them away. The world will being hostile to the mc is just too tiring for my brain, mc is always killed within simulations in ridiculous ways, and whatever paths of survival he finds feel too contrived for me to properly enjoy or feel any sort of catharsis from the process. it's a below average read, so i ended up dropping it for now, maybe i'll pick it up again some other time.

Thank you, I despise that kind of harem. It's like the americuck concept of a 'one-night stand'. Just degenerate garbage.

    Read until the end.
    Mid through and through.
Ended the whole over arching plot of 'The Way of Heaven is Dead' in last 2 chapters.
Mediocre cultivation system without any unique points. It's all just: stab him, he ded.
world building after chapter 200 went to dumpster, effectively stopped.
everyone is just waiting for MC to do something. MC is like a 12 year old stopped mental development.
