    Before it was [Summon space: 0/10].

    Now it was updated to [Summon space: 1/10, Skeletal Warrior (1)]

    I take back what I said, it seems he summons them from "somewhere" with spirit as the price and then they are in his "summoning space" as actual individuals.
    Assuming they are actually taken from somewhere and not conjured I do like that.
    And obviously its not something we will get an answer to soon.

    Hmm, shouldn't they be kind of figuring out how the awakening works? I mean, by looking at the characteristics of the person, we can somewhat predict what the class will be.

      I think it’s because of the way the that the Chinese write. They put emphasis on the words used to describe it.

          Common misconception. Usually due to fiction.

          Once Knights started transiting to full plate Armour shields quickly became much less popular, it simply wasn't needed when you were clad in full plate.
