As Yun Xiao’s soul soared into the heavens after his death, he made a startling discovery—the vast world in which he had lived for sixteen years astonishingly resembled a colossal tomb! Beneath it lay an ancient bronze coffin, vast as the boundless seas, radiating an overwhelming miasma. Every piece of land was but a handful of dirt atop this enormous coffin. The billions of living souls unknowingly thrived and multiplied within this graveyard soil.

Inside the massive casket rested the body of an Immortal. His eyes were as deep as the underworld, his mouth reminiscent of the Yellow Springs, his hair flowed like a majestic dragon, and his body spanned across a million mountain ranges. Which celestial deity from ancient times could be resting here for eternity?

Refusing to let himself fade away, Yun Xiao’s soul entered the body of the Immortal. With the world’s Divine Pillar as his sword and the vast continents as his seals, he and the coffin embark on a journey through the Immortal path, seeking enlightenment and challenging the heavens! Collapse

And there is also him making enemies everywhere if not for plot armor, he would be dead, many things could've happened differently if he used his brain even a little bit.

Though if you can pass that this novel still has its own charm, filled with cliches but still a bit entertaining. though I am dropping now, try it yourself.

At the start of reading webnovels human vs demon race wars were still fine to me I didnt think much of it, but it becomes stale after realizing that every chinese book has this bias. This "stale" feeling then becomes like a seed that sprouts and grows vigorously every time you read a similar story. Until now I am desperate when I open a new book that this time it will go a different direction and not total world war between demon sects/ non human races for some ultimate evil boss fight.

Man, this novel has more villain pov scenes than the main character's. After trying the poison, I'd give it a 3.3/5. It's pure brainless violence akin to dbz's plots.

I heard this was decent if you could get past all the cliches. I was interested until I realised this has been written by the author of Beastmaster of the Ages and Dragon-Blooded War God. DBWG has over 6k chapters and BMoA has over 5000 chapters and still being written.

    Not bad.
Start seems a bit childish, and led me to think that MC will be act like a child which i hate.
Anyway i was wrong, its an OK novel , with a OP MC so if you've run out of top novels to read i recommend this .

    It's so underrated.
Don't listen to anyone, telling this novel is trash. Try it yourself.
Despite many usual cliche, cause of the way author use 'em, it's naturaly breath of fresh air if we're talling about cultivation novels.
It may be slightly questionable at start, but became more and more exiting with every new chapter

The author was only enough for the first arch. Next comes the complete meaningless guano. It doesn't make sense to read.
