I'll miss Nick TT. Also, I kinda wanted an update on Gravis too. Too bad we didn't get any.

I think this was before gravis even existed, this was probably before everything, its highly implied that nick is the will of energy so kts is the prequel to litow and sgiawom

A bit too open-ended in how this conclusion played out. I have to say, it wasn’t the same in my heart when he died—and though it was a way for him to find forgiveness, whether from himself or from the one he believed in, it was still hard for me to read as if they were the same person.

It’s been a very long journey, filled with things that disgust the eye and fleeting moments of happiness, leading to a satisfaction with a bitter aftertaste by the end.

Anyway, I absolutely loved this novel.

An excellent story—definitely not for everyone’s taste, but for those who manage to reach the end and enjoy it, aside from the emptiness it leaves behind, it teaches you a lot and shows you the raw side of things—a special gift this author has.

From being an orphaned boy whose fate seemed set in stone to becoming the true savior of humanity—though at the cost of many sacrifices along the way, all for the sake of a better future for his species—this is how the story of Nick Dusk ends. The Duskbringer. Or for the friends, Nick Nick. It’s been a truly intense and hellish journey.

There’s really nothing I disliked about this story. However, something worth pointing out, especially in the last 50 to 70 chapters, is that it became clear the author was in a bit of a rush to finish things. I’m glad it didn’t end abruptly like other stories tend to do but that doesn’t change the fact that, in certain parts, the pacing felt noticeable rushed. Particularly with this ending, which clearly hints at a much larger universe out there, and that Nick will finally live for himself.

The good thing is that the core objective and heart of this novel was tackled and resolved in the best way possible—even knowing the author was hurrying the writing a bit.

This is a must-read for any novel reader, even if it means going through some very bitter moments—but that, in part, is the charm of KTS.

    Overall:
