    This is why I had made a decision to drop this novel some months ago. He is reckless, prying into secrets of those way above his current level and suffers yet still insists on doing the same thing in the next run. His sole focus should be on cultivation and the knowledge will naturally follow. God, it's annoying!

      This is a natural way of thinking but daoist unlike your name this novel doesn't focus only on cultivation because that isn't the end goal for authors view of the novel, the fear and curiosity of the unknown goes hand in hand.

      I feel like you are kind of correct ngl. I mean i wouldn't say he is reckless but he is conspiring against beings that can change the laws of the world who says they cant affect your thinking. He is trying to manipulate those beings, like Heavenly Doctor. When he used the chaos technique he acted like a miner but i don't think he fooled that divine sense. The same thing with Heavenly Doctor, he thought he didn't get find out but i dont think so. But if he wasn't searching for knowledge he could be manipulated without even suspicion so i am not sure what the right course of action. Maybe he could use his effort for better speed of cultivation because he is getting sidetracked a lot. Like he has an Immortal Technique like Xuanhuang Mantra but he is not actively cultivating(Going against his dao heart).
