My mindless review -

Its very slife of life-y. Its kind of slow plus this need a School Life as genre. There's currently 475 chaps and we still in academy, lets just say there's still alot of things that the mc doesnt know and the school provides him that.
Also No mc isnt weak just cuz he's still in school, im bad at explaining so just so u know he's way op compared to his peers and he can cause a big enough impact if he eanted to.

Last but not the least, the boy girl ratio of this novel when it comes to talented people is skewed, 95% of them are female

Does this novel have a clear POWER STRUCTURE ?

Story : It's a weird mix of harry potter and an isekai xianxia novel. It's suprisingly good. The protagonist goes to the 'dark arts magic school' , where there's sort of a slice of life school feeling, but he's also constantly getting stronger and getting new powers. I don't want to spoil much more but, as someone who's not usually a fan of these more 'western'y' novels with magic and knights and religion, this one is surprisingly good. The pasing is also okay, some big time jumps here and there but it makes sense, you can't expect every single second to be eventful. I'll give it a solid 8/10 (Mostly it just suffers from some inconsistencies , some characters randomly acting stupid, power levels not being totally clear at times, etc)

Writing/Translation : The writing is nothing to write home about, but its quite good. Also, i'm pretty sure this is native english, if it's not, the translation is excelent. It's refreshing to read something you can readily understand and don't have to decipher random word meaning, inconsistent translations or random gender swapping characters. (Everything has english names, so no chinese characters or anything). I'd give it an 8.5/10 (Mostly because it's just very clean english , the writing itself is mostly okay, nothing special).
Characters : Most character's dont get any development at all, or very little, and then they are just there in the background. It's mostly just the MC and maybe 1 or 2 more characters that the story actually focuses on. Sometimes a character looks important, but they'll just randomly dissapear into the background (even his master) . Nothing to write home about the MC either, he's okay. Sometimes he makes dumb choices but nothing terrible. I'd give it a 6/10. I can name like 1 of his classmates and none of his roomates, they are mostly just interchangable .

Total : 8/10. Definetly worth a try, even if you are like me and don't usually enjoy magic/western novels, it certanly has some chinese novel elements in there that make the whole thing refreshing.

Kind of drags. If its slow paced with useful and interesting info then it wouldve been fine because thats the type i like instead of mcs that just power level, but this is honestly kind of boring. I've read to 132 btw.
