Lolz, Most Historical novel written by WebNovel author is pure trash. Not comparable to a lot historical novel from Chinese and Korean. The lack of research and knowledge from author are telling everything, and even make historical novel with simplest RTS setting, everything just settle with MC intention is so crazy that it could get popular like that fcking german emperor building fcking modern weapons in just few years of his ancient reign. Yeah the fantasy sounds bullshyt and full of braindead reader 😂

I'm somewhat skeptical of this. Can a normal person be isekaid into the body of a genius battlefield strategist and be successful? It's not just training or equipping soldiers, or else the American north wouldn't have had so much trouble defeating the south's General Robert E. Lee.

There's also historical evidence of Napoleon's personal bravery under fire. He led infantry charges on more than one occasion, killing the enemy hand to hand and being wounded in action. Would a normal modern person hundreds of years away from the time of people learning and carrying sabers be able to cope? Without personal bravery, would the soldiers follow him? Likely not.

Lastly, there's the matter of discipline and reprisal. On occasion a commander of that time would have to order punishments in discipline, as well as the populace of captured territories. I recall a mention of Napolean punishing a city because of betrayal by allowing his troops to enter and plunder "without restraint" - murder, assault women, eat their food, and swipe anything they pleased. Obviously, it was a deterring factor to prevent betrayals. Could a modern person bring himself to be so ruthless to succeed?
