    There are a lot of factors to switching pathways that most don’t even meet the requirements.

    1st. Most don’t even want to switch pathways if they can help it
    2nd. You have to be a high enough sequence
    3rd. You have to have the requisite beyonder characteristics and formula
    4th. You would be missing out on some important acting methods and pathway specific requirements if you switch that may help you in the next sequence
    5th. Lastly there are still inherent risks in switching pathways

      For one, it's only above demigod status, so the pool is small in general.

      And secondly, the ability to switch paths is definitely for very very special people - Lumian has the support of a literal God, there's all these one-time occurrences intricately balancing the corruption that helped in retrieving alternate Beyonder characteristics, there's Adam's writing, there's a lot going for him and the people surrounding him...

      The path Lumian walks and the things he's been through are kind of unrepeatable.       I think its also due to how hard the rituals probably are if you aren't of that pathway. An example is with planeswalker as how are you supposed to travel the cosmos and spread legends as a scholar of yore or a mentor of deceit.
