    This is more a random fact I've observed:
    I remember from the first volume first book, there was a section about a female Eternal Blazing Sun believer that illustrated the fact that women where discriminated against. Think it even said that in terms of equality the Evernight church was the most exemplary.
    The Fools church is likely similarly influenced by modern beliefs.
    You may notice in previous descriptions in CoI that women get a lot less pay. Similarly all people introduced with influence in the Sun church have been male.
