    This was such a good arc! The plot twist was 🀯🀯. I'm so sad for Lumian but also I feel like bringing the dead back is....maybe not the best? Idk. It all makes sense now, many things cleared up in my head.

        The main mystery that his dream was real ruins of cordu was obvious from the very first encounter. Well it did lay other foundations, answers to which cuttle would drip little by litte throughout series, but still i was bored. Only started to enjoy coi around when Franca gets introduced.

    And here the first volume/part of COI is done, I don't have much words to say, only that this novel is simple PHENOMENAL. Even more than the first volume of LotM imo, its clearly seen how much better and refined the writing of Cuttlefish has become, can't wait to continue!! I'll try to bring back the comments every hundreth chapter.

      Honestly, I find LotM's first volume to be better than COI's. LotM leaves you wondering with questions like "what's next?", "what's going to happen?", "what about this?", "what about that?", which makes you want to read more to know how the story would develop. COI is much more straightforward with it. But it still leaves you hooked enough to want to read more.

      Thinking about it, first time experience definitely plays a major factor with the questions since we don't know much about Backlund and how the city operates. We already know a lot about Trier so we'll know how Lumian will have to operate in a new environment.
