    The books on the table were mostly popular novels, including Fors Wall's masterpiece, "The Adventurer 5: Vice Admiral Ailment," and Aurore's latest work, "The Substitute Detective." The documents pertained mainly to various matters in the Dariège area. As for the five photos displayed in the frames, four were of Madame Pualis, and one belonged to a man Lumian did not recognize.

        I don't think the extra pathways work like the 22 paths of divine. This was hinted at when explaining the Dancer. It was said that it was akin to a sequence 9, talking about it like it was some different system. These pathways not being mentioned in book 1 would be a major plot hole if they work the same way as the other 22. Maybe the other pathways are some additional pathways, 1 per above the sequence group, acting like an optional powerup

          While the first part does hold some ground, I believe that the second part can be dis-proven... The 22 pathways of the divine mentioned in book 1 were all ASG could acquire knowledge of from the various Sefirots and the Characteristics that belonged to Outer Dieties, which has ended up on Earth. Although this is not directly said and I did use some inference in my own.

          What do you think though? Do you agree? The words "akin to" are quite odd though, that I do have to agree.

          Edit: this means that the rest of the Outer Dieties are either just weaker than the pillars or their Characteristics didn't land into the hands of ASG, but, we are sure that Outer Dieties of unconfirmed Paths exist. I do have another potential answer, Pathways have been defined as "Beyonders consuming characteristics to become closer and closer to Godhood" in the anime, which is canon because Cuttlefish most probably had worked with the producers...

          As for the "akin to" part, one explanation might be that since it's actually a boon and not a consumption of characteristics, the words were pointed to the fact that it isn't truly becoming a Dancer... Just becoming an inexhaustible walking, living, talking Charm with the powers of the Dancer pathway.

      . That was a spoiler from one of the later chapters, I’m not sure if I’m misunderstanding it though since I didn’t read that far, but tbh that’s part of the reason why I was somewhat reluctant to start this. If it wasn’t because this is part 2 to lotm I might’ve not started this.
