In the gutters of New Vultun, the greatest megacity in the world, Avo finds himself resurrected from the clutches of death and tasked with a mission by a father he long thought dead. Now, he must rise to stop the usurpation of reality by the Eight Great Guilds that rule his world. Only by learning from his deaths and grafting newer and greater eldritch gods onto his being can he reach apotheosis and avert certain damnation.

Yet, as he ascends to claim the mantle of divinity, a question lingers… what kind of god will he become?

Chapters will usually be around 2.5 to 3k words and updates daily at the present.

Declaimer: Expect detailed descriptions of violence, cannibalism, and cursing.

Expect: Violence, monster mc, magitech, cyberpunk, implants, atrocities, oppression, non-human protagonist, reality-warping powers, and combined arms warfare.

Do not expect: Smut, romance, overt sentimentality.

If you develop a sudden outbreak of rash after reading Godclads, it’s not the story. But go see a doctor. Just in case.

I thought the glossary would be crazier than that based on the comments.

Seems cool but having nothing make sense for 20 chapters straight is kind of meh for me. Add to that a slew of confusing terms and I'm personally tapped out. It somewhat feels like reading A journey of black and red with it's wordiness but without the long chapters or a story that soothes you into it. Would recommend if you can get past that but would not if you can't.

I picked it up to read and read up to chapter 6-10, and you can really see the quality in the story, but why do I understand so little about the world, the powers, and everything? I feel like the story kind of started in the second book. I thought it was something from the beginning that they would explain little by little later, but basically nothing is explained to the readers, we only experience the POV of the grandfather, but with just that I'm finding it very difficult to understand the powers, the world, New Vultun, everything is very confusing. So I wanted to know if it's because I'm inattentive + that my English is terrible, I'm not fluent, or if in the beginning there really isn't much to be understood and it's a matter of continuing to read to understand.

Oh, dear fellow reading brother, this confusion is normal (something I truly condemn the author for doing). This sense that something is missing is intentional to a certain extent, but don’t be shy—everything will be explained, and then you will truly understand just how broken this world and its power system are.

So, this novel is really underrated. Yes, I understand that it's hard to read because of all the complex jargon, and I also understand that having the first chapter of the book be a dictionary doesn’t help either. But to be honest, much of that jargon, which causes most people to get stuck or give up on the novel, doesn’t really need to be understood right away. This novel is truly a crazy experience.

I understand the frustration of reading and not being able to understand almost anything, but that’s just a phase, and once you get through it, you realize how incredible this webnovel is, especially its power system. To make you even more curious, it’s very intricate (though it requires intelligence, since everyone is super powerful).

I’ll block this part because it falls under spoilers, so read at your own risk.

In brief: Can appreciate the world building, but the dialogue, characters, their subsequent actions and reasoning scream "modern author" at me, which, of course, isn't a compliment.
