Char lived alone in the closed beta test of “Fantasy World” for thousands of years. He had already experienced 177 data wipes. In this span of time, he had already successfully charmed all of the NPC beauties, challenged all of the bosses single-handedly, gathered all of the divine weapons and used hundreds of methods to complete the online game as though it was a replayable console game.

Just as he was losing the ability to differentiate whether he was a player or an NPC, the public beta started for “Fantasy World”. As such, a player who was even more terrifying than a boss was born. Collapse

There was a saying in China that one’s appearance was born from the heart. If a person’s heart was ugly, their appearance would not be much better.

That's really awful, god created people like that and you shouldn't assume good looking people are good and ugliness means evil. That's so disgusting and dehumanizing for people who were just born like that. Chinese people are doctrined to be racist and cruel. There was a case were a little Chinese girl being hit by a car and killed and people were just walking past her and no one even helped maybe they were afraid to get involved but that shit is heartbreaking and China is a place where individualism is being restricted and human life is so cheap. Maybe it's because of poverty and overpopulation, i don't really know but i really starting to hate it and i hope I'm wrong and it's just my opinion that is biased.

      Hum,, I'm itching about this.
      I'm not a chinese people.

You said that the chinese people are doctrined to be racist and cruel, but your comment shows racism itself. What a hypocrisy

I don't think I'm being hypocrite, what's your point? I'm literally noticing alot of racism in their literature and me saying that doesn't mean i say only them that are racist. I'm convinced most people are plain shallow and being ugly makes you go through discrimination and being deprived of alot of stuff. Perhaps it's not just China but everywhere i think.

Maybe it's a wrong translation. I know a say that says: even if some 1 I beautiful, but have an ugly heart. His appearance won't matter in life because he's ugly inside.

I think you're missing the point of the saying. I'm pretty sure it means that if you have a bad heart and are evil, then you won't look much better and it reflects, not necessarily that all ugly people are evil or that all beautiful people are saints. Also, like others have said, saying "Chinese people are doctrined to be racist and cruel." is a bit racist towards Chinese people. Most of these novels that you see are 1.) FANTASY 2.) Are generally forced to conform to some sort of standard of praising the government so the actual chinese government doesn't censor your work/come after you for anti-government sentiments. Most of these novels are also just wish fulfillment that have some degree of nonsensical elements such as the cruelty. For example, there are novels that say shit like, "With one swing of his sword, he wiped out dozens of civilizations, killing trillions in the process". Bottom line is, don't think too much. Hopefully my point was properly conveyed.

Thanks for taking the time to write this, i think i was a bit racist in saying that and abit overwhelmed by alot of stuff i watch and hear. It's not much better in my country. Government is fighting anyone who says something that isn't to their liking but they can't control it to the level China -government do. And i guess too much reading fantasy made me blur the lines between reality and fiction. I need to touch some grass

It wouldn't be racist but xenophobe. But I agree that a lot of chinese literature has a lot of patriotism, mysoginy and some racism, specially against black people. Sometimes is more subtle, many times it isn't.

It's not the Chinese's fault, they are forced to live like robots by something called Social Credit, otherwise they will die.

[We have detected that your comment offends the Great People's Republic, so you will lose 1 quadrillion social credits, your execution will be tomorrow. :)]

its not racism, chinese just prey on each other. its almost ingrained by blood since last quarter of the warring period, ppl long ran out of food and rations and are just fighting in the war with rations fueled by cannibalising women who they called 2 legged lambs, and children trading as cattle meat. Ingrained to distrust each other and a psychotic addiction to harm one another. This totally affected their growth and education as most feel the need to quickly rise to the top to be superior, act arrogant or prideful as a ddfence mechanism or give up on life like livesstock.

OR everything said here has no real proof or evidence and we are all talking BS making assumptions of a full race coverage from a few negative traumatic case studies.

Hahaha, that was said in jest. I think you made a good point as the original translation was horrible and I’m not sure if they are correct that it was misinterpreted. I have seen that exact quote more than once in these books. Pretty sure I read it in urban immortal, or something like that. Anyway, my point is, you didn’t deserve the hate you got for the comment as it’s a crappy saying.
