What I meant is all of this author's work ain't good in the first place. The author does not have any writing skills and is simply writing something akin to a history book.

"He goes there today, he came here today. He bought this, he bought that. He killed him, he killed her." It's like a freaking history book, with no emotion, no excitement, like jotting down events just for recording purposes. It's telling, not showing. The characters are like robots. There's no purpose, no goal. The fact that this author's book can even be popular in the first place seriously baffles me.

Go read Second Coming of Gluttony and you'll see what I mean. You'll feel anger at the MC for being such a disappointment. You'll feel hopeful about his progress and character development. You'll feel sad at the deaths. You'll feel like laughing at his pranks. You'll feel the excitement from the battle. You'll feel pissed at the many unfair things happening. You'll feel exhilarated at the bitch getting punched. You'll punch your fist up at the victory. You'll feel glad when the MC finally becomes the strongest. The myriad of emotions you'll feel from just a novel with less than 600 chapters makes it a memorable read for me.
