    So this is likely the main doomsday push before the Forgotten God. We've known for awhile that the apocalypse is growing closer with stronger and stronger Nightmare Creatures appearing but we haven't actually seen anything apocalyptic for the current cohort and to provide urgent motivation for Sunny/Nephis to push for their next Nightmare.

      Not necessarily a nephilim, all void beings have three eyes (at least those with a body i guess), it’s the mark of the void (but nephilim have it too as they’re of void beings and sun god descendance if i remember correctly).

An example was when Asterion attributed Cassie's eye not healing to him self, whereas it might have been her flaw preventing it from being healed.

          Yeah, back in the begining when sunny and co were sleepers. All of the survivors of the forgotten shore are fire keepers because they decided to follow nephis.
          It's also the place where Sunny and the shadow clan reside, due to it always being dark after Nephis destroyed the Nameless Sun. It's a very important location in this novel.

          Speaking of the Nameless Sun, it was created by 7 heroes who sacrificed a bunch of people to create it after a 3 eyed creature descended on their land, if I recall correctly, it's blood became true darkness and that in turn became the water on the shore. Been a while tho. I'd need to reread.
