    So in the divorce settlement
    sunny got the child and his fate back but lost 30% of his possessions.
    Sounds like a pretty good deal tbh.

    She could have taken everything bud so u should be happy with whatever u r left with.

    Fortunately, what he stole wasn't that important. Now I understand why this VTB couldn't be his shadow (for now) but we know that later, once Sunny becomes a god, they will reunite once again and for all (I suppose Sunny will become so powerful that every shadow in the world will listen to him)

    Now is the thing: what is the Vile spawn power? How will Sunny become Sacred?

    PS: I suppose that, because this story is a comedy about how a poor orphan became the Shadow God, it will end on the same mood with another comedy. I don't think that it will end poorly or as a tragedy, even though the whole worldbuilding isn't beautiful, but because of these kind of events, I guess that Sunny's adventures will end with a joke, or something like that. (Well, because no one among us would like a bad ending after all and because that's not G3's Goal. But that's only my opinion)

    I wonder what kind of relationship Sunny will have with his new child? Saint is like an older sister who shows concern through her fists, but is still more of a friend than a guardian or parent. Serpent and Nightmare are loyal servants, but if Nightmare is like a faithful soldier, Serpent is more of a hereditary servant. Mimic is more like a pet than a full-fledged person. Devil is a classic younger brother. And Killer... A colleague with tsundere tendencies?

    So who will the Spawn become? He doesn't seem aggressive, grateful, offended, or scared. He really does seem very much like a curious and playful child. Will Sunny have the potential to build a parental relationship with him? I doubt it. More likely, Sunny will become that uncle who always buys you chips and soda and takes you to places your parents usually don't allow. Something like that.

    Anyway, where is Neph? I come here for Sunphis, not for happy family reunion

        Imho, Sunny doesn't have the warmth to be a father, and Spawn doesn't need a parental figure enough to be a child.

        Heh, I can already see Spawn and Fiend vying for Sunny or Saint's attention. Spawn would have his mischievous and sweet nature on his side, while Fiend would have his experience and reliability. These two would be a great siblings. Overall, I think that's exactly the position Spawn will fill—the youngest child.
