    isn't Effie's husband someone whose powers are related to Oblivion like the Demon,
    I have been of the mind that he was the key to defeating Asterion for a long time, but dropped it when I saw him get enthralled by Asterion. I really did believe that if he ascended, he might get new powers, which amplified by Sunny augmenting him with all 7 shadows, could make the world forget the name of the Dreamspawn. But now Cassie mentioning Oblivion again just made me root for my silly little theory more.
