Guys Modret attacking could be Cassie’s mastermind plan, remember when the Army of Modret together with Cassie was facing against the army of Hunger domain, Modret said only if you let me loose earlier.
Meaning Cassie was holding Modret from advancing.
We also saw that Cassie ran into Modret Domain once Asterian arrived on her doorstep.

In conclusion, Modret is working with the Human domain.

An important thing to point out that wasn't mentioned in the last couple of chapters is that mordret can act as an ally and kill you off guard. Especially that his vessels don't have any visual indications and the bas*ard can mimic anyone and look convincing. But I also think he's not going all out in this fight.

It would be funny if it turned out that Mordreth had been fighting a war against himself all this time.

Am i the only one who dosent understand the big fear of mordet on account of the fact that he seems like a shittier sunless sure his aspect is worse to go up against in most situations cuz its so insidious he could be ur brothrr or mother or both and youd never know ge can steak ur sole while u brush ir teeth and hes basically a hove mind now buttt sunny is a hive mind too plus his champions are stronger than mordets and they are individuals sunnys shadows are immortal too(not the individuals) anddd just like mordet has a hove of glass insects sunny has an arguably lagrer hive of butnt centipides

Side note ik sunny has to hide his existence but i feel like importing shadow bricks would be an easy way to fix the whole dream real building materials issue he did construct a whole city on his own also the brics would all be trancendent heck why not all materials since he can fine tuune the physical properties of the shadows he conjures

Agree at some points, btw permanent manifested shadows are just of the awakened rank I think. But still better and super easy to obtain

I just realized that if Sunny is ever forced into society, almost all of humanity's builders will lose their jobs.

In some leveling games, you can choose between immediate and potential benefits. Nethys's aspect provides immediate benefits, while Sunny's provides both. Therefore, Nethys is always stronger than or equal to Sunny, even though Sunny has significantly more bonuses (Nether Armor, Shadow Dance, the Fateful attribute). In other words, Sunny's potential is always greater than Neffis's, the "basic" Sunny is weaker, so he needs all these bonuses. So what about Mordi? His aspect provides only potential benefits, which makes his potential even greater. There could be two or three times as many Reflections alone as Sunny's champions. He should also have more Cursed Beasts, and in my opinion, he can control them better. The threat to destroy the shadow also doesn't sound very convincing, because the Others and Reflections, to which Mordreth is already closer than to a human, have no shadow. Mordreth is weaker only because he decided to invest in the destruction of Valor and participation in the war, unlike Sunny and Nef, who were actively leveling up at this time. After all, he is a supreme psychopath with a divine aspect, almost limitless potential, and no particular restraints. Please don't underestimate my boy Fraudret

That shittier Sunless can solo Humanity🫩

Plus his powers are more covert than sunnys. You know youre facing the heir of death when darkness is all you see.. but how are you supposed to know youre gazing into the eyes of an enemy when you look at your mother

I think Sunny could use the shadows of people in the waking world to protect the gates of nightmare, just put them in a closed form and not let people (except those who know) contact them. This would greatly relieve the load. Clean up the oceans, after all, which he should have done long ago.

So what if sunny and neph are not inside the tomb. Previously they could not reach it. Nightwalkers ability to fold space might be the key.. but he is under the influence of Asterion. Some chapters ago it was stated that Cassie found a way to stop Asterion. Maybe they went to get that something?

They mentioned before that they suspected it would be impossible to cross the desert during the day, but would probably be possible at night while the walking dead were reinacting their battle.

That's right, the problem is that they were too weak to travel at night (maybe Nephi could thanks to her being incorruptible).

To be clear folks, Asterion previously said to call his name anytime and he would hear it. Kai is asking for help against Mordret here. Not just blurting it out by compulsion

I don't understand why would he call asterions name unless it wasn't on purpose and asterion made him say it. But if he intended to infect the warriors i think it's better to be in the human domain because of nephs healing.
Why do you think he did it?
