Disappointment in Asterion is unfounded. It goes against his personality to engage in a debate to convince others. And he doesn't need to. He came here with a goal, and that was to plant seeds of doubt. And he succeeded with minimal effort. Aa for the rest, he's a Supreme whose Aspects focus on manipulation and thought control. Why bother verbally when he has such convert and ruthlessly efficient means at his disposal?

Not even Sunny thought about how the masses wouldn't have had to deal with the Spell because the old Sovereigns would not have died to Saints... am I missing something?

I couldnt understand what you're saying. Sunny and nephis did know that if they won the battle without becoming supreme then every one of the hundreda of millions of mundade humans in the dream realm would be subjected to the first nightmare

Well, the entire plan hinged on them becoming Supreme (unless I didn't remember correctly) so the people never, in essence, needed to worry about that eventuality.

Do you think Sunphis were capable of beating them as Saints?

They might have been able under the right circumstances. Their plan was originally to either become supreme and then fight them or fight them as saints, so sacrificing everyone was a possibility since they didnt know for sure if they would become supreme. Sunny had about the same physical stats as anvil during their fight but was losing because he couldnt defend or attack properly with will. He could have very well died there but perhaps nephis could clutch while sunny escaped idk

All the people hating on Shadow Slave civilisation that they can always choose to take first nightmare and not depend on sovereigns aren’t thinking about one thing. There’s a certain age where awakening works. If you are bit too old you will die even if you conquer the nightmare. They got no option

Not every persons soul can handle awakening. Generally younger are perfect and almost everyone can handle it at that age. But the older u grow the weaker the soul becomes. So even if a person conquers their First nightmare at an older age their soul will be destroyed and they will become hollow. Ling Lings soul handled directly becoming transcendent because he is very very young but some random NPC old lady in Antarctica died the instant she became a sleeper because she was old.

Oh come on. "He can't die" is a huge stretch and you know that. If his soul or his shadow is destroyed, he is dead and that's that. That's the whole reason Sunny and Neph were only worried about the fact that there would be too many casualties if they fought in bastion and were not worried about weather or not they would be able to beat him. In direct combat, he does not stand a single goddamn chance, even if his Aspect is divine. Cuz at the end of the day, his Aspect is one of the least combat focused ones ever.

That man is NOT a divine Aspect weilder. And therefore is of human origin. Even if his idea exists it would only exist as a normal idea and not as a domain if there is no soul behind it. He would be alive as an idea. You could say that. But he would be unable to afeect reality in any way. Which is no different than being dead. Just because someone applied different logic to a situation than you did doesn't mean they don't read.

Fr. He is blatantly ignoring the fact that evryone only ever considers subduing and sealing him instead of killing him. He also apparently believes that only/all divine aspect users are not human somewhy, even though nephis and mordret are as human as asterion and the rest, while sunny is basically just as dead as jet

I'm kind of tired of human civilization in Shadow Slave. Why do they still pay attention to things like how virtuous their sovereign is? This setting is honestly even worse than some cultivation worlds, and people are still hung up on such bullshit. Taking the first nightmare is available for everyone now and everyone can try to acquire their own personal strength by risking their lives. If someone does not want to go into the first nightmare, I think that the wider society in this place should not be so compassionate to them, ultimately they are the ones choosing to put their safety in the hands of others. Regardless of why how saintly Nephis looks to the wide public, nothing about her character would be admired by those people if she didn't have the strength to back up her reputation, her virtue is nothing compared to her power, these saints doubting their loyalty even slightly are pretty pathetic for their thoughts, no wonder they get turned into thralls. If they dislike a strong person risking the lives of the people they care about for her goal, then they should also be willing to take risks similar in scale to what the other sovereigns took, otherwise they should just shut up and do as they are told while taking shelter under her domain. I don't really get why their morals are still somewhat similar to Earth morals when their world is this f#cked up.

Because that's how humans are bro, they want to relax and let others do their sh*t and if others do it wrongly they blame them, humans need a symbol, a symbol to let all their emotions out in front of it either its to love it or hate it, like our symbol is god their symbol is sovereign, it should be perfect otherwise you will lose your hope in it...

u right, still kind of frustrating though. I don't know how they can feel at ease when Nephis could literally burn them all with one thought as long as they are in her domain tho, I think I would be constantly on edge, like what if she just snaps one day?

well they used to think of her in high regard and with her flawless image due to her family legacy and with help of friends and government they think that she is a pristine soul, a goddess sent to earth to protect some sort of like that sh*t...

But they didn't knew the cold ruthlessness lie within that soul which asterion just showed them, now it's open they are gonna snap as you can see...
