      No, unlocking your aspect and flaw is a condition to become a transcendant, but that doesn't make you one, otherwise everyone awakened by the spell would be transcendant immediately after 1st nightmare.
      Do you remember Elyas? The healer Sunny met in 2de nightmare at coliseum iirc he was an awakened.

          I don't remember he said that, but I think most of his clan will ascend with the spell help, not only it's faster but there always a need to close gates on waking world.

          If they become transcendants they will lose the mark of shadow except if Sunny improves shadow dance to next rank.
