    My Thoughts on the Arcs
3rd nightmare is #1. Not only action packed, but the writing with the plot twists and world-building was insane. The whole mad prince thing was so well written I had to put my phone down and stare at the wall for a while to process everything. Not only that, they filled in so many gaps from previous arcs, explaining how people Ascended before the nightmare spell and giving crucial lore about Weaver. I can understand putting 3rd nightmare in #2 if u aren't the type of person to enjoy fights where its tipped wayy too much in the enemies favor (every enemy he faced was insanely out of his league), but that just makes Antarctica shine. It was constant action and struggle, a battle of attrition as Sunny struggles with the weight of thousands of lives. But that only made it so that Sunny's character development exploded. He began to look out for more than himself, and started to see himself as someone who can make a change in the world. Though it didn't have as much world-building and lore drops, Antarctica actually had me on the edge of my seat, knowing that Sunnys plot armor didn't extend to the tons of lives he had to protect. And #3 gotta be Forgotten Shore. I doubt I have to explain how integral it was to laying the foundation to... well, everything. The characters, great clans, Weaver, Sunnys Aspect Legacy, and his crippling fate that would influence many of his actions, even sparking his venture to Antartica. #4 is 1st nightmare. Not long, doing exactly what it was supposed to do: leave the reader thinking, "holy hell... this shit is peak" without spoiling things that would be explained slowly in important, world-building narration later on. #5 is Throne of Wars. While many people put this in the top spot because of the romance, Sunphis just didn't hit for me. It left a weird taste in my mouth knowing that Nephis never got to remembering Sunny. The fights were a lot less intense (with the exception of the last one) and it just felt like a ton of side quests/stories. You can't even really call it world-building when all the lore dropped was for this arc and this arc only. Finally, in last place, the 2nd nightmare. Not much to say... Sunny killing a lot of unnamed fodder while the heavy lifting was done by the people in the nightmare. It explained alot about the gods and daemons, but nothing was really crazy cool (the events in the nightmare were barely changed anyway). Noctis was cool, but tell me why the events after Forgotten Shore/leading up to the nightmare were more entertaining than the nightmare itself... But thats my list.

Man what a good volume it was, not better than Antertica for me. But I will still be angry if the world get's peace with only Nephis ruling it.
