        I don't think they could have know it was stronger than their own, if it's even the case. After all Broken Sword only had one part, that can't really compare to their full lineage.

        Also is weaver lineage really stronger, after all deamons are only one seventh of a god, no? For the fact blood weave devoured shadow god lineage i think it s more because this lineage was already installed but i guess we will never know.

            The seventh god was left behind but not because he was too strong, at least this reason was never given, nowhere it was show he was stronger. The reason he was left is because the creatures from the void were too strong, the gods were fighting desperately, one of them was taken and they could not do anything about that. You can also suppose the 6 deliberately backstabed the last but it s an interpretation. Only things we know for sure is the gods felt ashamed.

            Also Weaver lineage is not really the lineage of the seventh god, only a part of it. All gods had several domains like Shadow god who have death, shadow, mysteries... The lineage of Weaver only contain one aspect of dream god.

          I don’t believe it has a repealing effect at all, Nephis is quite literally in love with Sunny, while being a divine lineage. Anvil hasn’t even looked twice and master sunless.

            As I said it could be because Sunny didn't obtained the weave that would change his aura/presence.

            That could be another reason this lineage was split.

            For me Sunny will have the same problem once he obtains Broken Sword part.

        Is a forbidden lineage, if Sunny is Weaver heir, and Weaver is a part of dream god, then that also makes Sunny the heir of dream god....a being that is now corrupted by the void, the heir of a corrupted god....i think the reason is along those lines.....

          Yes but that doesn't make this lineage equal to a complete god lineage. The real deal would be stronger.

          Of course the greatest interest of Weaver lineage it's his sorcery/knowledge of weaving. And maybe Weaver and the others developed more specialized traits after dream god split himself.

        Or maybe they have learned Weaver's blood can absorb other gods' blood like how Sunny got Shadow god's aspect. Which is unlikely unless what Broken Sword got was the Blood Weave itself.
