    Maybe I stand alone here, but Sunny always bending to Neph’s will whenever she wants to engage intimately has grown incredibly old. It seems as though she cares solely about the physical aspect of their relationship, she gets what she wants - rinse and repeat.

    This is how her character has always been written, whatever Changing Star desires shall be hers, unopposed. I cannot bring myself to enjoy her character. The only satisfying part of her is that she is the object at which Sunny experiences growth and gets to try romance.

                Uh, yes? There’s way too much that’s problematic with someone like Nephis. I largely detest her personality, for one. For another, I wouldn’t be with someone who doesn’t have me as a priority in her life (when Sunny and Nephis started dating, she made it very clear that her goals came long before him in terms of priorities). Third, she’s way too famous. I detest fame, and there’s no way to stay out of the limelight when one is so closely related to Nephis, as Master Sunless has proven time and time again. Fourth, I’d have to reject an existing relationship, which is an incredibly scummy thing to do. “Yeah, I’ll have to break up with you. There’s this hot woman with a lot of money.” Sure, both of those things are great, but there’s just too much downside. Fifth, appearance isn’t a priority for me. I’m sorry that you’re so driven by lust that her mere appearance would be enough to tempt you. Sixth, attractiveness is subjective. It is true that she would have the most perfect appearance on earth—best skin, perfect proportions, perfect facial symmetry, etc—but that doesn’t guarantee I would find her attractive in the first place. Seventh, I’m not even straight. So yeah.
