    I don’t know if it works that way.
    I kind of thought that the citadel owner has to be defeated in order for it to switch hands.
    plus Nightmare is there to protect it. Sunny is connected and can send an avatar there in an instant.

    Anvil's most loyal saint (Jest) is still nowhere to be found too. I don't know how sunnys usually roach-like survival instincts haven't gone haywire yet, the whole situation has been fishy from the beginning. Probably too distracted by the fight and wanting to learn more about Anvil's abilities to notice how odd all of it is

      Hm...but the Invisible Gaurdian would surely block him, right?

      Also, I don't think Sunny would not anticipate any action against his citadel as he already contemplated that 'his citadel was nearby' in previous chapters.

      Anvil would not also be dumb enough to try to conquer a mysterious saint's citadel, where the Saint in question had single-handedly defeated 6 saints and his details unknown.

      Maybe I'm wrong. I don't know. But it'd be interesting either way. Let's see how it goes.

      In Chapter 1883, Sunny mentioned that his Citadel was protected by Nightmare and equipped with an invisible Guardian, which was not defenseless, as no Saint could sense or destroy it.

        The Guardian was deactivated. After all some Sword soldiers are stationed at the citadel and they need to have access to the gateway.
