          its about 50\50 i think the athority has reverse telling on who is loyal too because it most likely adds to the power of supreme. so if im right king would try too win sunnies loyalty to raise his chanses or by forse. it will be amusing if king ties shadow to him self and than get killed by it

        That’s interesting but honestly way to debilitating of a flaw for a war tactician. A important part of war is knowing when to retreat. I assume it could be something like cold-hearted. He treats most people as tools and the only person we’ve seen he actually cares about other than Valor is the mom of Nephis.

    How much of a difference does a single citadels make in a sovereign's power for him to risk so much? It kind of doesn't make sense to risk so much for a single citadel since he didn't even care when Modret destroyed Rivergate. If it makes so much of a difference to the point of him risking so much then Ki Song should have already gone to fight and won this war since she has all the citadels of the House of Night.

      Pretty simple honestly it's not really the Citadel but the people in said citadel. They spread there domains through 2 known ways. People. And citadels. If bastion gets destroyed the people won't be spared either and there's a crap ton more people in bastion then Riverdale. And also bastion is one of the 7 main citadels I'm pretty sure that are related to the gods.
