    He had received it as a Legacy Relic, and since Aspect Legacies seemed to come from the Spell, it would be reasonable to assume that the Spell had created it.

    That's why I think that Sunny should've lost it with every other memory that Spell has bestowed him but which he had not modified himself.

        maybe because it’s an original memory with no relation to the spell it works like that but that doesn’t explain the shard memories especially dawn shard. maybe there is an enchantment that makes the item permanent. but you can say that shard memories where made by a weaver. this can make sense because we know that a high priest of the spell was there. maybe he had a couple a students or he came to FS with a couple of priests and they had spread weaving so the hero’s could have inlisted the help of a weaver to make the whole mechanism of shards because of said spreading. but it makes me think about why the high priest was imprisoned. did the heros betray him? what happened to him? did they forbide weaving so no one can mess with what they did? we know they weren’t good guys so it’s possible.
