    I really dont understand the hate for these chapters, we learned SO much regarding the cohort, how it came to be, and and more about Ki songs abilities, which is a huge boon for sunny and cohort anyways. We got so much lore but people cant even understand it, calling it padding ffs. sigh

      I think it has more to do with how often the story jumps around this arc, and how long each detour is. Even though I’m enjoying the character lore drops, it’s kind of killing the pace of the war for me.

      A lot of these flash backs, and character POV switches, could have been wrapped up in a lot less chapters. I wouldn’t call it filler, because it’s relevant to the plot, but it’s definitely dragging a bit imo.

        Yea and how during the ambush it kept jumping between sunny and Neph during their fight. Made what would have been cool fights super annoying.

          But that’s how it’s done in anime all the time lol. No one wants to watch one fight then watch another fight right after that’s happening at the same time. It makes the events seem precedent to the first when it’s not then one character is just doing nothing while the other is fighting. Personally I like how that fight was done showing all the different scenes occurring simultaneously from different point of views.

          If anything reducing the number of times it jumped would work better to immerse the readers into the fights better but the fights didn’t even have a meaningful conclusion since those song cowards ran away after losing their sneaky advantages so there would be no point.

    So we learned nothing useful from that memory sequence. Good worldbuilding and character building, but hardly worth the plot excuse to show Sunny. Should've made a better excuse if the goal was to worldbuild via flashbacks.

      They know about Ki Songs Dormant and Awakened ability, they know Ki songs trauma and what made her to certain stuff so they could maybe deduce some stuff out of that in the future, they know exactly how Anvil, Broken Sword, Smile of Heaven and Ki Song met and later asterion aswell. If that is not a huge info dump than I don’t know what is. It’s not like that spy was close enough to Ki Songs to find out about her Flaw. So G3 actually bend the Plot a little bit for ONE character to know SOO MUCH.

        Actually we did learn her flaw if people pay proper attention and have good comprehension
        Her expression changed slightly whe orum mentioned her having a family of her own and all her daughter being adopted it is easy to deduce that it has something to do with family
        But not all people are capable of that because some were dropped by their mothers when they were babies hence don't have good brain and like trash like solo leveling

    These sovereigns are just pitiful and absolutely stupid. I actually can't believe how dumb they are that they are willing to weaken the entirety of humanity because of past squabbles. If they had actual spines, they would fight each other and merge the loser into their own force. Instead, they fight a worthless and miserable fight.
