    I had my hopes for Sunny-Cassie, but now Sunny-Neph is all but secured... which leaves the question: what about Cassie!?

      I like Cassie x Mordred, they both know what it's like to be different people and have multiple bodies, once the King of Swords dies, it's obvious that Mordred will join the court to look for Asterior, I think Cassie can have a "I can fix it" type relationship with Mordred.

        I mean, it worked quite well at the start, so why not return to the origins? Only, Cassie doesn't need to be protected like a princess anymore, while Sunny becomes the tragic 'heroine' that must be helped and protected by his 'knights'...

      Honestly, if they don't introduce a decent character to relate to Cassie, I'm tempted to support this threesome, I don't want to see another random character appear out of nowhere just to take one of our heroines and then disappear from the story. At first, I thought she would end up with Kai, but the author didn't go any further with this couple, and I think he's a little too naive, compared to Cassie who is an excellent liar and manipulator.

      The biggest problem with Cassie is that she knows when her close ones will die. Like there was a chapter when she talked with her mother, and it said that she knows the day her family dies. The only way for her to be happy in a relationship is to date either a Fateless like Sunny, or someone as strong/stronger than her. The novel obviously is moving to them achieving Divine rank, so there are not many candidates.

      Also, Sunny has his eyes only for Neph, as we saw countless times, so the whole threesome seems unnatural. Kai doesn't seem like the one and the only viable option is Mordret with whole Sasuke thing going on. "I can fix him" seems most viable here

        i think kai has a thing for aiko since there was a conversation he had with someone sometime ago with him asking how aiko was doing and the other person i think says she's alright then following up saying that he should go meet her himself. i can't remember who he was talking to tho.

        mordy isn't really a viable candidate for cassie, since he's considered more of an "enemy of my enemy" but otherwise a stranger they're wary of. afterall, although they are not his enemy, they wouldn't let it past him to harm them just to get his revenge on valor. also, i'm sure cassie still remembers what he did in the night temple despite forgetting sunny's part in it. the cohort doesn't really mention him, but i think they simply consider him somewhat similar to skinwalker but with some benefits in the upcoming war
