    I think Sunny should go for the estuary because apart from being freed from the enslavement, considering the worst case scenario that Nephis dies and someone like Mordret becomes his master that would be really terrible. Knowing he had a chance to destroy it. Besides, Cassie did say that they would be fine even without him so I guess he should go for it. After that he can stay with them because he actually wants to.

      didnt she have to pick wich of her only two friends dies. now she is giving him the choice between abandoning his friends(they live even if he leaves) and be free or stay a slave and be with them. his choice is much easier imo
