I love how G3 nursed our paranoia about Cassie in this volume. Makes the final reveal much more satisfying

    duh?
she is basically using her powers to ensure everyone in the cohort survives, only she doesnt inform the entire cohort of EVERYTHING she knows (which is probably for the better anyway)

in LOTM klein has the power to make very accurate divination using the space above the gray fog and uses this to help his colleges yet never informs his leader dunn smith. even going as far as

Calling that a betrayal is a reach, considering none of them died, they accomplished their goals and came out stronger. If she knew it worked, staying quiet was probably the best bet, even if it is fairly shady.

I mean if the mad prince went back to being sunny, isn’t it possible that torment went back to being Cassie?

I fail to believe that she got a vision or revelation and was able to escape just like that

idk what youre saying, all the 6 plagues "went back" to the original state of the nightmare as soon as the mad prince completed the loop. though for somehow (we havent been explained how yet) the 6 plagues found a way to first transcend and then invade the new loops meaning there would be 7 challengers and 6 plagues.

the mad prince himself was erased because he finished the loop and his body went to sunny.
do you mean that torment also completed the loop with the mad prince and thus her body went to cassie? considering she 1 admits she cant be corrupted (again) and 2 is in the body of a transcended (she cant lie because sunny can check), but then how do you explain her being in fallen grace at the start of the nightmare instead of at the estuary like sunny

also even if she is just a master i do believe she would be able to use revelations to escape here, we saw how many revelations she got as a sleeper and im pretty sure ascension amplified how many revelations she gets

        Chapter 1530: Blessing of Misfortune

Confused, he even remembered the eerie and nonsensical thought that had entered his mind after they escaped Aletheia's Island. That Cassie could have been able to remember the previous cycles of the Great River, just like the Mad Prince had. Which would make her Torment. But she couldn't be Torment for the same reason — if she was, Sunny would have been able to see the darkness of Corruption in her soul, and the Spell would have banished her from itself. The strange incongruity gnawed at him more and more with each passing day.
