    Y'all seem to be misunderstanding authur's intention here..he's left us enough hints even from the start of the novel,that mudane world is not going to survive and that the dream realm is the only hope, if humanity wants to survive..i dont know of you guys but i would rather authur not waste his time building a world which would become irrelevant very soon instead i would prefer learning more about the dream realm since it plays a major role in the story

      It wouldn’t have been irrelevant if the author had done the world building 500 chapters ago.

      There are plenty of mysteries left on mundane world, so I doubt the author will immediately abandon it.

        That's stupid, Sunny barely spent any time in the real world, except until the latest arcs, in which we got worldbuilding... What's the point of worldbuilding something only for people to forget 500 chapters later cause it was never relevant? And what do you even mean by worldbuilding? At this point, all the major powers are introduced and being properly explored, the situation of the world is explained, pretty much all the cities will look the same, and lastly, we have explored Antarctica, which has been the most relevant place and all the other places are pretty much ditto copy same since the world is ending and no one has the ability to do anything... Look at this point, the story isn't 'lacking' worldbuilding but rather it decides to focus on the Dream World, instead of the real world. It may seem awkward for there to be a blank spot but hey, even Sunny doesn't know much more than us, since he spends the majority of time in Dream Realm

      I think otherwise, the author increasingly hints that perhaps the "real world" is an artificial creation of Weaver,Ariel's desire to forget the truth, the masters to unite the bodies of the 2 worlds, the saints to act as portals between the 2 worlds,the supreme ones need a domain, everything leads me to believe that when the dream world was destroyed Weaver, knowing of destiny, created the spell and a false world where he threw the world's beings,so that they could grow and return strong to the world of dreams and new Gods ascend,he probably knew that his world would be destroyed and that they would be killed and they would not be the ones who would end up defeating the Corruption,Ariel, Oblivion and Weaver probably discovered this and only Ariel who was the Daemon of Fear who went a little crazy and asked to forget everything
