        The hate is still over the top. She's a 16 yr old blinded girl who in the most literal sense, owns her life to Neph. What was she supposed to do? She could have sit back and watched, doing nothing, but to her and her knowledge at that time, that would be the same as watching Neph die. And its not like she didnt try another ways as well, but we both know fate isnt something easily broken. Also we all know Neph isnt going to abuse that hold she has on Sunny. So while what she did was terrible, she was also given no option. And like look at what some of these ppl are saying, they are generally given the most corny wanna be cynical villain speeches oat. "Trust is not redeemable... This dog eat dog world, f good intentions" Like what am I looking at, this is a real monolog someone said. Not to mention, Sunny is still doing well.

          that is true i also said something similar in a future chapter. people can hate on cassie since she still did stab sunny in the back even if she had no choice. but she gets really overhated for that. but i guess i can understand why

                  Its not and thats because your avoiding any substance that the matter has. She didnt give his name away to a random person, but to the person she trusted and known the most. She know Neph wasnt going to abuse the power she holds over Sunny, and Sunny isnt a actual Slave either. Not to mention everything good that has came from her decision. Sunny has able to leave the forgotten shore, able to see and protect his sister, and now is planning on changing the second nightmare. If you take away all substance from the matter then maybe I would be inclined to agree with you, but using critical thinking skills changes that.

                  and yet the matter of fact is that he is completely unable to refuse any of nephis’s commands. he would have rather stayed with neph in fs and found a way out together. he had his choice ripped from him, because cassie decided to choose neph over him. he might have been less mad if neph was able to come with him too. but both things went downhill.

                  This agurment still doesnt mean anything... As I already say, Cassie (the girl who can see the future) knows the Neph wouldnt use this ability, and even we as readers should know Neph isnt going to use it. You whooe agurment is based in something that never will happen. Also, this isnt a spoiler but later on, Sunny reflects on this saying that he would have likey died if he stayed with Neph. I could also explain more how this was actually hood for him, but that would be crossing into spoilers

    I understand some guys can defend Cassie saying she was forced to choose between two right choices. But trust is not redeemable, no matter somebody betraying you with good intention, that shit changes nothing about the nature of their action. The world is twisted in the way that makes good people appeared bad in others life. This is a dog-eat-dog world, f#ck good intention, f#ck your reasoning, you betray me, push me down to help other people? Then f#ck you, imma stay away from you, no strong relationship can built from doubt, once she know how to deceive you, she will think about it again. It's a seed, not just a mistake.
