    Am I tripping? Did we read the same story? Why are people confused about Sunny's character development? No offense to the guy below me, but WHAT do you mean "unpopular take I believe Sunny is having character development" YES THAT WAS THE WHOLE POINT OF THE LAST VOLUME! Sunny realizes his growing human conscious and embracing it, thats why the ending of last volume has so good, we saw Sunny cry for the first time and it was for the death of his cohort. And the guy below him, Mr. Gabriel, DID WE NOT SEE HIS DEVELOPMENT AS WELL! Mr. Gabriel said "I really dont like protagonists with such a rigid moral compass" did we read the same story? I think he means he doesnt like protagonist with more of a "hero" moral compass, but Sunny is in no way rigid; Do you think volume 1 Sunny would care abt these people? Hell, volume 4 Sunny probably wouldnt care abt these people. Once again, I mean no hate to these people, nor am I trying to be disrespectful or mean, im just so taken back by these comments.

    This might be a unpopular take but i believe that sunny is having some character development. First of all in antartica instead of leaving Falcon scott, he stayed to protect the people. If that was beginning of the story sunny. Ngga would have been gone. Second he is stavning to his goal of saving the people of antartica even though he kinda listening to nephis.

    I don't really like protagonists with such a rigid moral compass as Sunny's; the only one I like like that is Klein Moretti (and he's become my favorite protagonist, he's amazing, haha). My other favorite protagonists, on the other hand, have an ambiguous moral compass, or none at all. sigh sigh

    First Sunny wants to deny fate, 2nd sunny runs away from fate,..... now he embraces it.

    Next im hoping he will try to break fate sometime in the future/ Or should it be going against fate first?

    Way to go with Sunny's character development.

    In the past Sunny would have thought the same and actually change his course of action, but now Sunny has grown and can look past Nephis's words and give his goals priority.

    Sure what Nephis is said is coming true, but what matters is that Sunny didn't care and gave priority to his goals rather than being affected by Nephis.
