    There is just something I'm having trouble understanding, It was Sunny along with Effie, Kai, and Cassie that conquerored the second nightmare and thus gained the citadel...

    So why does Nephis keep claiming that it belongs to her? Is it just for the reason that she's mostly in charge of the Cohort?

    Is so that's stupid, it belongs to Sunny more than anything. Quite literally Nephis contributed nothing to the success of clearing the second Nightmare and getting claim of the citadel.

    Please no don't tell me it's just because she's the head of their cohort...

    Why y'all thought all of these charades will just be solve in the blink of an eye.
    You'all forgetting that Sunny is only an ascended who doesn't have an uncle who is a saint or whole clan to back him up.

    Well, what can Sunny do actually in this situation?

    It's simple really. Actually, Sunny influence is so little that he only has one option.

    That is to grow step by step as well. He needs to go back in observing his enemies and then act when he's sure of it.

    Well, Sunny did just find his conviction afterall.
    What can you expect to a person who just discovered what he wants to to-do to these big clans?

    Damn, even Nephis sole focus is to survive for now and that is the person who planned her revenge to these traitors almost of her life.

    Plus, Sunny influence is so small that he could only be in the sideline just like what's happening in the strategic room.


    So for Sunny to converse to Nephis and the others is considered pretty normal as he is in the growing stage. Plus they're the only people who he ran and trust with when there's trouble.


    Give Sunny a break guys. Sunny is not like the others op MCS and neither he grew up in a clan to cultivate him.

    He's entirely on his own.

    Which is why he considers his cohort as close as his family due to their bond and the emotional support they have in each other as an individual when hell broke loose and that is also the reason why he hated Cassie so much and Nephis a little.

    And now he has he's own desires? He needs the others to do that. He's powerless afterall

    Sunny had never seen a cat, but he had met a few rats in the outskirts. As far as vermin went, rats were pretty scary... so a creature that made a hobby out of hunting and torturing them must have been really terrifying.

          1) She had no knowledge abt the slave-master trait and only knew that it would help her in a fight,
          That's what cassie could find out, nothing more

          2)sunny alr said that nephis was holding back so that he can leave without guilt (if she went fp, he would've lost obv)
          So sunny could've just listened to her request and all this wouldn't have happened to begin with

          Didn't know wanting someone to live is "betraying" them...

          3) sunny alr got over it...and we didn't need to wait longer for the mc to return to the real world

            i think it's just people hating idea of having their mc becoming a slave, so they won't like cassie and neph no matter what...

            the way i see it, sunny had it easy with his aspect's weakness.. it's the most insane weakness imo, becoming a slave by just anyone if careless..
            so yeah i feel its the biggest cheat mc had while author giving super OP divine aspect that will only grow stronger probably in the future

              At the end of the day, it's likely because these f#ckers self-insert as the MC way too much.

              Because if you had some brain, it's obvious that MC isn't Nephis' slave and that it's just in name only.

              Now, it's a bit hard for the MC to come to terms with it because of how paranoid and untrusting he is.

              MC feels so weak though compared to other divine aspects. Like wth is up with Mordret, mf just can't die? Even if spirit is destroyed, mf just ends up as a reflection and can come back again.
