    By now, he was all but certain that the region of the Dream Realm where the Chain of Nightmares had originated — and the black pyramid hidden within — had something to do with Ariel, the Demon of Dread. Was the pyramid really his tomb, then? How would a daemon die, and who would build him an opulent grave?

    And what did the great river that allegedly flowed back in time have to do with any of that? Its estuary was mentioned in the description of the Stifled Scream as a place where a dreadful secret had been hidden. Was this the same estuary?

    The sybils had been, apparently, some sort of oracles that received revelations from the gods. Once the gods died, those revelations obviously stopped. The timing didn't really make sense, though, because the Tomb of Ariel had seemingly existed long before that

    Ok so I have a few questions about this river of time. First, which way does time flow on this river? Back when we first learned about it, it sounded like the start of the river was the start of time and the end of the river would be the end of time. But Sunny said here

    this implies that the time in river, which flows from the top (beginning of the river) to the bottom (end of river), went from the future (which would be at the start) and ended in the past (the end of the river). That might be confusing, but basically does time flow from the top down or from the bottom up?

    Second, this is more of follow up question to the first, but its abt this Estuary we keep hearing abt. Estuary is define as the end or bottom of a river where it means the ocean. So depending on the answer to the first question, the Estuary is either the beginning or end of time here. And since this seems important, I think it would be nice to know which one it is.

    Third thing I wanted to mention isnt a question but more of a theory. We saw that with the description of Stifled Scream that a dreadful secret was at the Estuary of this time river. And what Demon is so far connected to the Estuary, thats right Ariel the Demon of Dread... It also said that the sybils went to his burial and embraced the Estuary which lead to their death. I wonder what secrets are hidden there that lead to this powerful Oracles dying? (I dont really want a answer to this one, its just something to think abt)
